   I was invited to the Open Ealing venue, by an Arts Group called 'The Litten Arts Group' who are based in Oldfield Lane, (South) Greenford, UB6 9JX. Their Arts Group is for people with 'Mental Health' needs. Ann Armitage is their Arts Group organiser. They meet on a Friday 2pm - 4.30pm. They were holding there annual Arts exhibition at the Open Ealing Venue off Dickens Yard, Ealing, W5 2TD. I really enjoyed their wonderful paintings and other work produced by their Arts Group members. Also had a lovely evening with the group. alan Stacey mbe

   I swear I typed a review here but it has disappeared! I love Open Ealing. Every community should have one. Serving the creatives and artistics of Ealing and actually anyone with a desire to point in that direction. The director is amazing and she has recently replicated the concept to Southall as Open Southall. Go here. See what's on. Sing, dance, draw, paint create. You won't be sorry.

   As well as a good line in coffee there's a really good programme of activities with classes and performances- Mandie acts as a wonderful conduit for local artists, helping all around her to effectively network.
