   I don’t usually leave bad reviews, usually only good ones however please be careful if you are planning to have a piercing done here. I had my navel pierced at Border Rose after it closed up while I was having children. Firstly, I expected it to go through the old hole. The pen marks were on the old hole so I had no idea it was going to be a new piercing and was not told. Maybe this was obvious to the person doing the piercing but not to me. Secondly, I was pierced with a bar that was much too short. After 2 days I was in a lot of pain and the piercing was very very irritated and angry. When I went somewhere else to have it checked, I was told the bar was far too short and if I’d left it, it would’ve embedded into my skin. When I messaged border rose to let them know this, nobody even replied let alone offered me any money back as I’d had to pay to have the damage fixed and a new bar fitted. I was also told the jewellery was poor quality. The aftercare advice I was given was also incorrect, which I found out afterwards.
