I’ve been to 6 Halfmoon shows now, and also attended their free creative play sessions with my toddler. The performances are often so much more inspiring, unique and creative than at other theatres. My toddler who has some additional needs has had some of his most memorable experiences at shows here and I can see him developing his social skills in the play sessions. I think it is the one place we’ve found so far where the staff have the understanding to make us feel completely welcome and he can really truly be himself. And also, it’s brilliant value for money. We love the halfmoon. I feel so lucky to live nearby.

Went to see Ten in the Bed today and was completely blown away. My 4 year old and not even 2 year old were captivated the whole way through. It was funny and poignant and the acting was brilliantly expressive and physical to help kids follow the dialogue. I want all my friends to take their kids to see it but it’s only on this week! The theatre staff themselves were very welcoming. We’ll be back!

My daughter attends this, and I love what confidence it has brought out in her. She has always been an energy and light to every room, but she shines even brighter at her performances her.

Affordable with a variety of shows for a range of ages. Definitely recommend checking out if you are local to the area. We went to see Out of the Hat, a production by Long Nose Puppets. Charming songs and enjoyable for grown ups too!
