My young person has a diagnosis of autism, deafness and physical disabilities. I was a little nervous to be honest . There was no need. ALL of the staff have been OUTSTANDING. The enrolment team were SUPERB. The SEN team are TRULY AWESOME. He has been given helpful guides with alsorts of easily accessible resources (and I used to be a SENCo). The lecturers have set up recorded lectures and lots of other study support mechanisms…. BRILLIANT. There are clubs for people with neurodiversity, there are counselling services available to all. There are even night out high visibility vested helpers.

It was an absolute pleasure doing my undergraduate degree at the University of York. I have so many lovely memories from the University and also the city. I’ve included a selections of photos I took while at the University. Truly couldn’t recommend the University any more, especially the Biology department.

I’ve been visiting this campus since the late 70’s. From sledging in the snow, cycling, exploring and now walking. I’ve loved seeing the architecture change through the years.

Just had 2 days at the STEM Centre on a course. Excellent facilities, friendly staff and amazing food. The course was really useful with lots of take away ideas.

I'm student of the MSc CS, the course has material full of errors, the quality and level of service from the tutors can't be worse. The students are trying to help themselves because tutors reply is terrible slow and wrong, not sure if they actually know of the topic.

What a great university. Like a little village of student accommodation and teaching and learning facilities. Nice grounds, and a variety of new and old buildings.

The campus itself is huge, you´ll need a few weeks to know where to go, but the information system is very well organized, and there are allways some nice People around you to ask for advice if needed. What surprised me a bit was the overall condition of the Buildings and Facilitys on the Campus itself, they seem a little bit Run down in my opinion and could use a little bit of Renovation here and there, but the overall impression was good, and the City of York provides a lot of nice places to go if you dont study :) so, yes i can recommend it for shure.
