I would highly recommend Jodie billings I used Jodie to help myself gain a non molestation order on a ex partner , Jodie provided comfort and support and provided me an excellent service. Jodie supported me in and out of office hours and did everything she possibly could to ensure I was okay and the application was successful. Jodie was more than a Solictor to me she was a friend and might aswell been a therapist. If your looking for a great Solictor who truly cares Jodie is the one for you I couldn’t thank Jodie anymore.

I am currently in the process of moving house in what should have been a straightforward short chain, our buyers are first-time purchasers and the house we are buying is empty. Unfortunately, the sellers chose to use Painters Law to handle their sale, and the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. My solicitors have been waiting for responses to around 20 outstanding enquiries that were sent to Painters Law on 15th July. It’s now October, and we are still waiting. Despite repeated chasing from my solicitors, the estate agents, and even direct attempts to get updates, there has been no progress, no explanations, and no apologies. The level of unresponsiveness is completely unacceptable. After weeks of silence, we were told the matter had been “escalated” to the firm’s directors, but even that has made no difference. Most recently, we received an out of office email from the person supposedly handling the file, with no alternative contact given and no indication that anyone else was covering the case. This exact same issue happened in September, leaving everyone involved in the chain completely in the dark. It’s astonishing that a firm operating in property law can show such disregard for communication, professionalism, and basic client care. The personal impact of this has been huge. I’ve spent weeks of sleepless nights worrying that we’re going to lose the house we’ve fallen in love with, the house we hoped would be our home for years to come. I’ve been trying to plan a wedding, manage a once in a lifetime trip abroad to visit relatives I rarely see (something I’ve saved years for), and instead of feeling excited, I’ve been constantly anxious and on edge because of Painters Law’s incompetence and indifference. The stress has been enormous and completely avoidable if this firm had simply done their job. Given the extent of their delays and lack of communication, I am now seriously considering reporting this matter to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), as I believe the service we’ve experienced falls far below acceptable professional standards. I would strongly urge anyone considering using Painters Law to think again. Based on my experience, this firm has demonstrated a total lack of care, urgency, and accountability. Their behaviour has caused significant emotional strain, financial uncertainty, and weeks of unnecessary delay. If you value communication, professionalism, and efficiency, do not use Painters Law.

I’m incredibly grateful for the support, guidance, and professionalism I received throughout what was a very challenging time. I always felt listened to and reassured, and everything was handled with care and compassion. Thank you to Laura C for helping make a difficult process that bit easier.

Painters have moved to Council offices Stourport Rd the reception is in the main PUBLIC foyer. They are quiet happy to sit you next to other people discussing personal business, I heard all the conversation going on next me. I now know their names addresses and phone numbers. The other lady on my other side refused to hand over personal documents due to where she was being sat, and I don't blame her. We will never be using Painters again for this reason. Client confidentiality is non existent. Yes you can still have a closed office appointment but general and still personal seems to now be in the lobby of the council offices, not sectioned off in any way. Personal business should never be so open to the public ear. Handing over my late mothers will was a sensitive thing and was handed over on general display with no condolences given either!

We have been impressed by the professionalism, communication and speed at which Chanal has processed our house purchase. Throughout the process she has guided us as to what we need to be doing and explained the process in a way that we can understand! Could not recommend enough as our experience has been excellent!!!

Painters Solicitors took me through a particularly sad and harrowing time of my life. Losing your husband suddenly leads to all sorts of complications when you least have the energy or state of mind to confront the stress of addressing changes to life and finances. Although we had written a Will, we only had a copy and the solicitors we used had closed down. Lee quietly lead me through what he was doing to trace the will and through to probate. I have not had the need to use a solicitor many times in my life but even buying a house seemed to be a complicated issue in the past let alone when you have lost your life partner. I can't thank Lee enough for the work he has done and the sympathetic way in which he lead me through the process. I encourage everyone to file a Will as even with a family of 3 in total, you need to prove such a lot of details at a time when your mind is elsewhere. I would recommend Painters Solicitors for their efficiency, advice and for how they kept me informed at every stage. They did all of this at what I fee was a fair and affordable rate.

I will never use these Solicitors again. The one receptionist isn't very nice to me, she argues with me over something totally not to do with her. They are slow at dealing with things no matter how urgent the issue is, was not listen to at all. I felt belittled by the company, miss understood, and to be honest as if they didn't really care about me or my situation. I felt so low after dealing with this company for a few different issues and their lack of seeing their faults that I ended up on anti depressants. I am not perfect but this company has three times left me confused, upset, anxious and as if I am to blame! I wish to have nothing to do with this company ever again!!!!!
