One of your Instructors has been advising students at Barnsley College, I think his name is Chris. He symptomatically slagged off Shotokan Karate saying they were a shed load of rubbish and worst culprit in Martial Arts. He also said we were only a fighting art and did no kata which is total rubbish. Two of my Black Belts have been given the treatment, one walked out and refused the instruction, the other a just 16 year old was derided in everything he did. I have had more than 35 years of instruction from the best instructors in the world, including Kanazawa Sensie - world renowned and my own sensei Frank Vernon 6 times European Champion. Please ask this completely under informed individual to stop now. He is invited to one of my classes anytime and will show him what proper self classes look like.
