   My daughter has been attending Silk School of dance for 2 years now, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. All the teachers are incredibly talented, creating a supportive and fun environment. My daughter absolutely loves and looks forward to attending every lesson and has made many new friends. The progress she has made is remarkable. The school also organises dance shows which offers fantastic experience for my daughter. All our family were blown away by the quality and standard of the shows.

   It’s truly heartwarming to know how much Silk Dance has enriched my daughters’ lives. The combination of enjoyment, confidence-building, and the development of discipline, resilience, stamina and commitment is invaluable. It’s clear that the sense of pride and success they gain from their achievements, along with the lessons in teamwork, have had a profound impact. The friendships they’ve formed and the welcoming, uplifting atmosphere at the studio works as a wonderful support system. It’s amazing how a nurturing environment can turn a challenging day into a positive experience. The fact that the teachers are attentive to each child’s needs and create exciting, fun and challenging classes speaks volumes about the quality of the lessons delivered. The teachers are always thinking outside the box to provide new experiences and opportunities. It has been a true pleasure to part of the wonderful ‘Silk family’ for many years. I am very grateful for the positive influence Silk Dance is for my daughters, and for helping them become the girls they are today.

   My daughter has been a part of Silk for the last 8 years, and it really is the most remarkable family. They have taught her how to dance, how to sing, how to tumble, and most importantly, how to have fun whilst doing it. She has some truly amazing friends at the school and loves nothing more than being a part of their successful competition team. I can't believe how much my little girl has grown up with Miss Pennie and all the other amazing teachers x

   I discovered Silk School of Dance when I was looking for a ballet class that I could attend with my nearly 2 year old daughter. Classes had just reopened after lockdown and it was the first time she was joining in a class with other children. The baby ballet class was such a special experience for both of us and I was impressed with how professional it was but also fun and magical with sparkly wands, tiaras and butterfly wings. Since joining Silk my daughter has transformed from being incredibly nervous and scared of other people to gaining so much confidence that she now dances on stage all by herself. This is all thanks to the welcoming, nurturing and supportive environment that is created at Silk. My eldest daughter now also attends Silk School of Dance where she has made lots of new friends whilst learning new skills and developing as a dancer. She is also relishing the opportunity to perform with the junior troupe team alongside her little sister. I would highly recommend this dance school as the standard of teaching is superb and the studio space is fantastic. Thank you Miss Pennie for creating a truly magical place for children to learn to dance and follow their dreams.

   My Daughter has been attending Silk School of Dance for the past 6 years, it’s been a pleasure to share her journey watching her confidence group and at the same time gaining an amazing friendship with other Dancers. Miss Pennie and all the other teachers have been very involved in all Rosie’s achievements from been able to do a cartwheel, winning medal at Dance Comps, been accepted in to Stagebox/Management and most recently been offered a place in Matilda. Thank you for everything you do for us.
