The 2 nurses and receptionist working today (06/09/2025) were incredible with my son this afternoon. I can't thank them enough for their amazing response time, care and compassion.

Bitten by a dog and the MIU was so good. Registered me very quickly, then gave me a clean up, tetanus and antibiotics. In and out in less than an hour and all the staff were very friendly. Nothing but good things to say about this place.

Physiotherapy department. Difficult to get someone to answer the phone. People coming in to book appointments because they cannot get through on the phone then finding there is no receptionist at the Physiotherapy department. No complaints about the service provided by the therapist, only reception.

Fell early Tuesday and twisted my foot. Unsure what to do but rang the hospital later, arranged to go in to Minor Injuries the next day. All the staff were brilliant, checked in quickly, triaged, seen by a nurse and x-rayed. Took a bit of time, as you would expect, but result of 4 breaks soon decided and supportive shoe provided, along with crutches. Referred to Maelor Fracture clinic the next day. Good news the shoe etc was all I needed. Can't fault the service or the people who helped me, all true professionals. Thank you.

Hi after having two operations over the last two years and choosing to to recover at my Wrexham address I found that the simple task of having my stitches out on both occasions was a disgrace , despite being a fully registered NHS patient , the amount of time wasting by doctors surgeryβs , 111 and all the other departments who all either passed me onto the next dept or point blank refused to take them out is border line dangerous , two years ago and most recently last week the Mold Community Hospital once again came to my rescue they agreed to take the stitches out and I only waited about an hour , so a massive thank you itβs just a pity all the other establishments could not be like Mold and deal with people as humans rather than following a script on a PC or having the canβt be bothered attitude. Thanks again , David McCarroll

My father was transferred to Mold from Wrexham Maelor for rehab just before Christmas following a fall. The care he has received there has been first class. The nursing staff (covering all grades) were all very friendly and helpful and looked after him extremely well. The family is not local to Mold and he was given access to their mobile ward phone whenever he wanted to speak to us, nothing was too much trouble. A doctor there also picked up that he was on an unnecessary high dosage of blood pressure medication which hadn't been identified by his GP or the Maelor (this answers a lot of questions regarding his previous declining health). He wouldn't agree for him to be discharged until he brought his blood pressure up to the right levels and has adjusted his medication going forward, accordingly. The physio team there are very professional and provided encouragement/support. A referral was made following his discharge this week for further community support at home. Although we were unable to see him on a daily basis during the 3 weeks he was there, we felt safe in the knowledge he was in a caring environment and being properly looked after.

Over the years I've been here for quite various reasons, X-rays, Physio sessions, blood tests, light treatments and of course, visiting other patients. Now, on every occasion the whole experience has been very good. The staff are very helpful and clearly proud of their little hospital. Thank you.
