Tried for 3 weeks to get an appointment for a lump - just get "all appointments are now gone" message after waiting on the phone for 20 to 30 mins. This surgery is in the dark ages - now GP service does appointments like this anymore! Let's hope it's not cancer I will be suing without remorse - it's clear this surgery doesn't care, so why should I.
Terrible doctors, don’t ever go here. Doctors tell you they are too busy to do referrals as they have holidays to go on. They tell you that you are making up symptoms as they seemingly cant be arsed working. Absolutely useless, garbage excuse for a doctors surgery. I would have given it 0 stars if it let me!!!
Absolute shambles of a surgery. Needed an extension for a fit note and they firstly said I needed to come in to fill out a form to do that - when last time they simply sent me a text with a pdf. I filled out the form and gave the reasoning including bereavement and Dr Sheldon has completely ignored the reasoning and changed it on the fit note. I then explain to the receptionist that this needs to be changed and she said she will ask Dr Sheldon to change it - I then get a call back saying Dr Sheldon is refusing to change it, call back tomorrow at 8am for an appointment. I then call at 8am to get it changed and the receptionist says I can have an appointment for NEXT WEEK. My fit note ran out yesterday! My employer is asking why the reasoning has changed! Utter shambles of a surgery. Nightmare.
Can’t fault the reception staff who were really nice. But my appointment was half an hour late, and I didn’t even get a ‘sorry about your wait’ for the doctor. My doctor was very dismissive of me, i told her how much pain I was in and she didn’t seem to care. I told her I can’t eat from the pain and she literally said ‘well not eating for 3 days won’t harm your health’. Needs to go find some manners and take matters more seriously.
Told the receptionist I’ve been struggling with an upset stomach(etc) for a week now which is very serious ir dehydration etc.. and she said there’s no appointments until the new year (2 weeks away) How’s that any help?? Absolute shambles!!!
The worse surgey in the UK I book phone appointments twice morning hours first week ago nobody contact me, another this week 9.30 am again nobody contact me and receptionist tell me I can't see doctor face to face.My blood pressure is last 2 weeks 190/120 so will be better waiting for a stroke.Tgey do not deserve for any stars
to be honest, this surgery does not deserve a single star. again today after 3 weeks of waiting to get booked appointment , I had been by the phone all morning for the call.I work nights, I need to sleep. for 5 years we have not received quality service and help, in the last 3 years we have been completely neglected, we are treating ourselves. I am honestly surprised no one has died due to their incompetence. it is so upsetting to know that this used to be a great surgery. if you are new to the area - stay away,please. awful surgery.
So sick if being fobbed off by this surgery. Iv been fobbed off for heart pain and bleeding for 3 weeks. When I mention mental health I even get ignored. Not many of them care or try and help, very obviously too busy, probably understaffed. 80% of the receptionists are rude and don't have empathy which is discussing for a GP reception. 1 of the doctors is also incredibly rude and I know of about 6 people who will not even speak to her anymore. Only half of them know the processes however some will try and make a plan to help you when in need. I'm honestly surprised no one has died due to their incompetence. Another thing is every referral I have had has only been sent after 3 chase's (Sue) is useless. Iv had to explain the entire right to choose process to her as even after sending a signed letter for right to choose it was sent to multiple wrong places. Will be changing surgery's as soon as I can.
