Appalling! Shame because it's such a nice, clean and well equipped surgery. I've been here now for ten months (yes you've read that right), having moved from out of area. My whole fifty years of medical history are still missing, causing me dire problems in getting the help I need for my conditions. I have repeatedly tried to tackle this with the surgery, everything from complaints which have been ignored, trying to speak to people, to which I've been spoken to and treated like I'm a moron. I've contacted PALS, CQC, health watch, you name it I've tried. I have a genetic condition that affects everything in my body and I can't get any treatment. The pain levels I've been left in for almost a year is absolutely beyond words and all they ever do is try to trivialise the matter or make pathetic excuses. I'm honestly so down and at my wits end.

Absolutely shocking telephone booking system. Was told to ring at 8am for an appointment. Rang at 7:55 to be number 20 in the queue and wait 45 minutes on hold. Only to be told that there were no appointments. Went to a pharmacy who put through an urgent referral to the doctors for a same day appointment, as I had a kidney infection that can be dangerous if left untreated. Was again told to ring back at 12 for an appointment, even with an urgent referral. Rang at 11:55pm to get get an appointment only to be told there were none available. Explained that the pharmacy had sent through and urgent referral for a same day appointment. The receptionist then told me I could book an appointment for the 20th of September. That is almost a month to leave a kidney infection untreated. No wonder there is such a strain on our A&E and our of hours services with services like this!

Emergency telephone appointment system is impossible. Not fit for purpose. Too many patients chasing too few appointments and unable to get follow up appointment if lucky enough to see a doctor in first place. Therefore no continuity of care .

Was treated there with nebulizer steroids and antibiotics for chest infection was told to ring doctors to get inhalers .. have rang cannot get telephone consultation or appointment until 12 of April .. what a joke. What makes it worse is I go work on Sunday and get home on Friday so would need earliest on a mon or latest on a Friday think I was talking Chinese to the receptionist

Excellent service. Rang up for on the day appointment, perfect. Thank you Dr Vanspelde and your reception team for your hard work, and helpful attitude on the phone , when patients are anxious.

Terrible service, telling my elderly mother who doesnt have access to a computer or smart phone the only way she can get an appointment is to get someone else to use all her personal details to create an account on a different website

My mum has a bladder problem got her urine tested at her regular hospital appointment and was given the results to ring to the doctor for antibiotics the receptionist who never went to medical school told her she would have to send a sample in because she couldn't take my mum's nurses word for it . How and when did receptionist have a medical degree or am I missing something. Therefore I've had to wait till today to take my mum's sample upto the doctors to a very rude receptionist who thought she didn't have to answer my questions o.n why this happened and slammed the door in my face . I will be making a formal complaint to the GMC as my mum suffers with regular Infections and some have caused her hospital admissions in the past .
