I have been with this Doctor's surgery since born and it's gone down hill to the way it use to be run back when all the original Doctor's and Nurses where there it was a good GP surgery at one time and the service of getting a appointment was easier back years ago when not well you were able to book a appointment for the same day or the helpful receptionists that were there back then would book you a appointment for the following week as they were helpful. With having ailments i had got told by either the Nurses or a GP over the years if and whenever i need to see them that they are there for me to just to book in which isn't the case nowadays with the surgery as for 3 days solid still unable to get in to see a Dr or a Nurse as they don't seem to be care about their patients when not well and in need of seeing a GP or a Nurse. Bring back the way Murdishaw Doctor's use to be run years ago which was a lot more better than nowadays.

Find it hard to book appointment to see my own Doctor and the women staff who are on in the morning won't help you to see your own Doctor even I say I don't mind waiting a few weeks.

Patients treated like numbers, rather than with compassion and understanding. Doctors and receptionists seriously lacking in interpersonal skills. Inaccurate recording of patient information and consultations. Patients attending the surgery are often seeking reassurance to their health concerns, only to receive medical gaslighting, leaving them feeling more worried than they did prior to attending the surgery. The continuity of care is lacking due to the consistently changing doctors and nurses who work within the surgery. When raising concerns a lack of ownership is taken, with little to no action taken to resolve any concerns raised. From what I’ve experienced the surgery is not open to constructive feedback from the people using the service, and has either no way or wish to implement any changes to improve the service for its service users.

I had some difficulty due to the process of booking myself in at the desk for an appointment as I wanted my problems to stay confidential and so I made a polite complaint. I feel this is something that needs to change throughout 'all' practices however I can't fault the service since I went through the proper channels. My dad has just registered at this practice too and he is being given very good care so right now I'm giving 5 stars as its well deserved.

Why did they turn the e-consult off? Now I simply cannot get through on the phone, it's a busy tone, not even a queue system! I can't visit in person as I work full time. There is literally no way for me to even enquire about an appointment, it's so stressful!

I’d leave zero! Did not provide follow up on dangerous high BP. Have to wait at 8am outside for appointment when you’re sick??!!! How is that care? Please respond?

I've found the staff pleasant to deal with, and the clinician are fine at their job, but due to the APPALLING phone system which means you can't get through and have to continually redial for HOURS rather than wait in a queue it gets 1 star from me. It would be extremely easy to get the phone company to set up a longer call waiting queue, but have they done that? No. Of course not. This is why the NHS will end up being privatised. Because of NHS staff failing to address simple customer satisfaction matters like this.

I dont normally complain about the nhs, but after queuing outside the centre since 730am to make sure I got an appointment, when I got in and asked the receptionist to see a 'doctor' she put me down to see a paramedic. I then had to fight with her to see a doctor. This is the second time this has happened with this receptionist on Monday morning. After her probing questions about personal health issues. It's easier to get an appointment with the dentist and that's saying something. Doctor O'Hare is the only good thing about this practice. He is brilliant. Sadly it is very difficult to see him.
