   Absolute joke this place phone up 8.30am (opening time) to book appointment and just get to straight up nope nothing till tomorrow so you mean to tell me your fully booked up within like 20/30 seconds the waiting time is a joke considering the mount of staff that sit around laughing and joking this place needs a full shake down of its staff and replaced with staff that actually shows care and professionalism

   I have recently moved house and therefore am leaving the practice. But I want to thank everyone for the care they have given me and especially Dr Ahmed who was absolutely amazing during my Cancer treatment. A model for other GPs to aspire to. Thanks again.

   Entirety of bevan group is an absolute shambles. Doctors lie to you and never make contact. Have to call 150 times at 8am if you want an appointment (some of us have kids to get ready you know). They mess up your prescriptions and leave you weeks without meds. Thats dangerous for your health.. It's completely unacceptable and it doesn't seem like there's any competition in the area either, all just as bad service as each other. Widnes NHS is a mess, they can't even do the bare minimum. Avoid this surgery and the entirety of bevan group including beaconsfield and west bank, don't risk your health. Hippocratic oath is toilet paper here. Would post 0 stars if Google let me. Grossly incompetent.

   Avoid This Practice at All Costs If you’re considering joining this practice, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. My experience here has been nothing short of disappointing. The staff come across as obstructive and passive, offering very little in terms of actual help or care. I requested a letter with specific details—something quite straightforward—and they were quick to take £25 from me. Yet what I received didn’t meet the basic requirements I clearly outlined. It was utterly insulting and a complete waste of time and money. There’s been no accountability, no effort to resolve the issue, and frankly, no sense of urgency or care from the team. I’ve felt completely let down, and I’ll be moving to a new practice as soon as possible. Trust me, avoid this place. You deserve better.

   Shocking service from this surgery. Receptionists are rude and obstructive. They appear to be do everything in their power to prevent you from booking an appointment. Recently tried to sort out a referral through the Right To Chose scheme (seemingly the only way to actually see anyone!) and they managed to mess up the paperwork and not submit all of it. Useless.

   Phoned up for an appointment which I couldn't get yet the lady on reception 'Tracy' her name is, was more than helpful. Ahead went above and beyond to help me get my medication before the bank holiday. She Is what makes customer service! An absolute credit to the practice.

   This morning I rang up to make an appointment and explained I needed to see a female dr. The lady I spoke to said she could book me in for 2pm that day and gave me the name of the Dr (foriegn name) and explained this was a female doctor. When i arrived the self check in wouldn't confirm it was myself, however eventually did.Due to this I hadn't noticed the name of the Dr it stated I was seeing. At 2.20pm I had still not been called through so I went to see the receptionist. Her abrupt answer was it's only 20mins after your appointment you know, like I wasn't aware of the time! She then said my appointment had been voided as it hadn't booked me in. She would have to see could I still be seen! She then confirmed I could and it was Dr Connor. I explained I had requested a female Dr and this was confirmed. She argued this wasn't case like I was a complete idiot. She said It was the reception supervisor or manager that had booked me in, and it was Dr. O'connor. I asked her to name all the doctors so I could tell her which name I was given, as I could assure her it wasn't my own Dr who was Dr O'connor . There was a good reason I had requested a female Doctor. She said I'll call the person who booked you in, then said oh no she has already gone home. Dr O'connor then came out and I explained It had been confirmed a female Dr would see me. He asked would I still care to speak to him. After having to take unpaid time off work and not knowing when I could next get an appointment I had no choice. However I'm totally disgusted I was put in an uncomfortable situation, having to discuss something I did not feel comfortable with a male Dr. But more so the receptionist attitude from the word go.

   I joined this practice after moving to the area 6 years ago and on every occasion I have needed to use their services I have been treated as an individual and recieved outstanding care. As a busy working mum I have found the econsult service has been particularly useful in assisting access to a GP. I will definitely use again.

   There is an ongoing problem with phone lines (at least past two years). I've mentioned it before and I can't be the only one. Multiple times, after getting on the line and getting in queue, it disconnects me. I've tried different phones. Today was it for me, it kicked me out the queue 8 times in 15 minutes. The doctors are fine, that is, when I actually can get through to one. But I'm changing practices.

   The doctors and nurses are brilliant, however it’s the reception staff that lets this practice down. They are rude, abrasive and short tempered, who give inconsistent / contradicting information depending which receptionist you speak to, which points to lack of internal communication and training. Appointment times and availability could be much better.
