  1. Matthew Barber (EndoM8rix) ★★★★☆

The Lewin Lab may not be the most glamorous facility at the University, but it does provide a good source of tools and resources for students to complete their work without a laptop (or going home). The departmental computer system is somewhat faster than that provided in other university buildings (although it's not exactly hard to beat) and offers a more comprehensive assortment of programming-related utilities. The biggest drawback of this facility is the opening hours: 9am-6pm on weekdays, and closed on weekends. As the only means for some students to complete module-related coursework, the lack of accessibility is somewhat of a limitation. This is further reduced when the facility is booked for a module. Overall, the Lewin Lab boasts many useful features (including the Mac Lab and Silent-Study Room), and would always recommend using it as a study space if you need somewhere to work within the University. If you have access to a laptop and the necessary tools, though, then you may find it more convenient to study elsewhere.
