Question: Since my friend has to catch a flight today at 16:25 pm, is it possible for us to pick up our passport before 16:00 pm? because she booked another flight as she missed yesterday for not having passport.

Very disorganised, poorly trained staff and very unprofessional.they charge Β£27 for courier service to return your passport by DHL within UK,the cost for secure courier by DHL next day delivery only cost Β£11,VFS is extorting money from poor people mostly from third world countries who normally need a visa to enter Schengen states. The appointments booking system is a disgrace and not fit for the purpose, VFS staff don't even understand Visa regulations for most Schengen members states. Staff very rude and incompetents lucking customer care skills with very poor communication skills,VFS-London office is a disgrace ,it's a shame that most European countries are using this company to handle there visa applications, this company has no leadership or system to provide a better customer experience, poor service only,

Unfortunately, the lady at the door today did not meet the expected standard of professionalism. This needs to be addressed. Very disrespectful. That said, the experience was somewhat salvaged by the gentleman at the front deskβ€”he was friendly and welcoming. More importantly, "Smith" was also in the cubicle and handled the process professionally, making things run smoothly. However, it remains a hit-and-miss experience overall. Being asked to queue outside despite coming early/on time for you appointment whish is in 15 minutes is simply unacceptable.

I would give a negative number but this has been the worst embassy I have ever been to . Took over 3 months for my passport to come and now I’m waiting for 30 mins to receive my passport. I have been emailing these people for over 3 months and they haven’t responded to my message. I have lost around Β£450. There’s no waiting room for me to sit down in so instead I have to sit down on the floor infront of the embassy. Reconsider coming to this place.

Our overall experience was quite pleasant. We are a family of four applying. Our appointments were all scheduled at different slots on the same day. The staff were kind enough to let us submit the applications together. The officer (Majura Mahalingam), who handled our applications, did a fantastic job in collecting our documents and biometrics. A couple of docs were missing from our kid's applications. She gave us sufficient time to gather the documents and submit them in order to complete our application process. Opportunities for improvement. Given the high volume of visa traffic at this centre, it is disappointing that people have to queue outside for long. On our day, it was quite rainy. There was even a scuffle with one of the applicants and the security staff. VFS certainly needs to look at a much larger centre with waiting rooms. The business centre too needs a few extra PCs as there was quite a bit of queue for print out missing documents.
