I'd like to share a rather great experience we had in dealing with Hartley & Worstenholme in the purchase of our new home. Victoria who dealt with the transaction was very astute each time we called for an update all questions would be answered immediately. Victoria's communication is exactly what you would want from a conveyancer, and Victoria managed to push through the sale on very tight timelines (stamp duty deadlines). We will be using Victoria again for all future transactions and we appreciate her dedication and manner in dealing with our purchase.

I can’t reiterate this enough DO NOT USE! Trust me….. the slightly lower charges compared to other firms is definitely not worth the hassle, stress or anxiety this company gave us! Pay that little bit extra and go somewhere else. You have been warned!
Theres a reason why they have so many 1 star reviews and the it’s pretty simple. They have the worst, most incompetent and rude lawyers I’ve EVER had the misfortune to speak with. The many reviews that state they are rude I’m sure are absolutely correct.
These people do not make the process any easier, I m convinced all the other nice reviews are from individuals from within. Victoria Davies one of the so called solicitors is not interested in speaking to anyone over the phone but rather just interested in emailing you about her payment. A doc needed for the purchase of a property was held by her for over a month before emailing me with the words for your attention. She is rude and incompetent and I wouldn't recommend this company to even my worst enemy. Stay far away from them, especially if you are given a Victoria Davis
