   Where do I even begin… the sheer incompetence of this firm of solicitors is beyond belief. We recently purchased a property and, unfortunately, our vendors were using this firm. Their utter lack of professionalism, complete disorganisation, and inability to carry out even the most basic tasks caused endless delays. Because of them, we spent over half a year stuck in limbo and two unnecessary months sofa surfing. Time and time again they ignored our solicitors, including an unbelievable two-month silence during the enquiries stage. They even lied about when things would be done, dragging the process out further and wasting everyone’s time. Our solicitors had to chase them constantly, only to be met with more excuses and zero results. They managed to misplace documents at the last minute, forcing new ones to be issued. They repeatedly failed to secure a completion date, putting forward random dates without checking and, even when one was agreed by all parties, still couldn’t lock it in. The fact that this firm is still trading as a legal practice is a disgrace. Their disregard for clients and their reputation is staggering. Do yourself a favour and avoid Elmhirst at all costs. If you value your time, money and sanity, use a firm of solicitors who actually know what they are doing and care about providing a professional service.

   Sad that zero stars isn't a thing. Approached this firm on numerous occasions to help with probate, inheritance tax and property issues. They were approached by phone, email and, as a last resort, in person. Promised a resolution in days, never heard a thing three months later. Must be a good position not to require any new case work.
