   Impossible to get a doctor appointment for serious health problems: the rule is to phone at 8:30 but when you are already at work and not allowed to make phone calls how does one suppose to call for appointment?!! When I call at lunch break or in the evening to make an appointment I am told the same : call 8:30. Explaining why I can’t they just dismissed me like ‘ well, that’s how it is”. The review is about the total lack of flexibility for working people to make an appointment and the lack of concern for their patients’ declining health is appalling! I will be leaving this surgery. Is it so hard to look at a diary and be emphatic and give me a slot? I would not even be fussy at the day and time. Other surgeries manage this task … (ps: I have to put one star otherwise I can’t post the review)

   I've had great experiences with forge Road It doesn't take long to get through in the morning, I am always offered an appointment or a phone consultation. I feel like the staff here really listen to your problem and take the right course of action. All the doctors I have seen and spoken to have been so nice, so understanding and have done such a thorough job when completing an examination. They really care and listen. I also see a nurse regularly for my injection and for ashma clinic and the nurses are really great too. Friendly and good at their job and listen to your concerns and needs. The receptionists are friendly and polite. They always listen to me and give me the care that I need. It's always a positive experience speaking to them. I honestly cannot fault this surgery, they've always been great to me. I think if you are polite and follow/accept the system of the receptionist asking about your issue before sign posting you in the right direction, you will get the help you need.

   Doctors an nurses brilliant! Receptionist awful! Rude. Literally have to beg for them to give you a appointment. Every time I have rang 8.30 when they open I get the same thing every time all appointments have been booked up today! Impossible wouldn’t mind their always for my children. It’s almost like they enjoy being awkward an rude to you! No sympathy atall.

   Surgery has recently gone back to in person appointments and it certainly looks like its having a positive impact. 10min on hold when I called, receptionist offered me an appointment the same morning. I got there, had to wait literally 5min and the Dr called me in. Dr Roberts was professional, wanted to listen to my complaint and explained the next steps, and I was dealt with quickly without me feeling rushed. I actually got out of the surgery at the time I was due to have my appointment as I had arrived early. I know things will not always be this good, but they've shown such an improvement over what has become the norm from the past 3 years that I was stunned at the service.
