   I stay in a lot of hotels with work, and this is by far, the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. I had to leave on day 3 of 5 after seeing a rat in the doorway. They also charged me for an extra week, despite telling me they wouldn't. I'd rather stay in east Ukraine than go back there. Bed was at least 20-years old. Had no springs left, mad the room STANK of bad body odour. Absolute shambles and must be unhealthy. I found 3 of these on the floor during my 2.5-day stay.

   Clean basic rooms and free breakfast when you book direct. I would have given it 4 purely for value for money but the mattress was horrible and cheap, so we didn't sleep very well.

   If you want a 5* hotel this is not the place for you. Rooms are very basic bed, tv, desk and some where to hang clothes. But saying that we had a reasonable night's sleep and was very quiet. Breakfast was cooked to order along with cereal, juice and croissant. Was just enough to start the day. I requested a ground floor room when checking in and it was no problem.

   Nice enough bed and the room was just fine for a flying visit. But be aware: the place you see in the photos on the website has little to do with the place in Runcorn. Someone needs to update the info.....

   For what it is, it's actually good and does the job. Yes, the rooms are basic and it's not great to look at, but it's very clean and has towels/shower gel/ tea and coffee etc. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the bar/restaurant area is pristine. They serve a decent selection of drinks. We ate a pizza which was freshly made in the kitchen and tasted really good. The staff and service were good. No complaints here!

   I have been staying at this hotel for a number of years it's basically very good budget hotel. Just across the road from Runcorn train station. Plenty of parking although I had an issue with the parking management firm which was easily dealt with by the hotel after a phone call. The only issue I have is that some guests smoke outside the room and leave their cigarette ends on the floor outside the room. One last thing the breakfast was good.

   Stopped here over night on route to Wales. Chose this hotel as was dog friendly. Staff were very friendly and food was amazing. Highly recommend chips and Stuffed crust pizza. Bed was super comfy. Definitely use again.

   For the price wasn't expecting top quality, but was pleasantly surprised . The staff member on reception (wish i had got her name) was extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was warm and bed and bedding clean and comfy. The water is hot , and I mean hot, not luke warm like some budget hotels (and not so budget hotels) .. OK the bath isn't huge but it's perfectly adequate. The room is clean and had tea and coffee .... If you want cheap but quality then this hotel is a must. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the Runcorn area at a good price.

   We come here every 2 months for family reasons. We have come to know regular staff..they are mostly wonderful and welcoming. This time our room was warm, a huge bonus as we felt so chilled after our journey! This place is becoming our 2nd home. Thank you!
