Hold's on to your money a long time without delivering. We chased and chased for weeks. They gave us a date and we waited a month longer. All in all we waited 3 months and quoted 8 weeks. I wish I'd listened to a couple I know who advised me they waited a long time. Chairs didn't last a year either.

Extremely helpful, pity such long wait for goods , delivery cost, not cheap.

Absolutely terrible experience and I will never shop there again or recommend DFS to anyone, ever! They got my phone number wrong on my finance application so I spent hours of my life trying to sort it out with Creation Finance as they couldn't be bothered to do it themselves. I was told when buying the sofa that if I chose it in a specific colour it would be guaranteed express delivery and I'd get it before Christmas. Only to find out today that it is now only being delivered on the 28th. Terrible customer service, poor communication and false promises. Avoid the place at all costs!

Buying a sofa should be a happy, fulfilling experience....not so with DFS. Our £1900 sofa arrived damaged, poorly stitched, broken leg!!! DFS is not interested in customer satisfaction, as long as they get your money, they're happy. Weeks down the line, copious phonecalls, email etc, we're now having to involve the ombudsman to get what we actually paid for!!! It's a sad world, when you even have to fight a company to get fair treatment. Unless you're up for a battle, don't buy from here!

This isn't our local store but visited as there was a wider choice and lots of new styles we wanted to test. Most of the staff were helpful and friendly, not overly pushy either, and when we came to order one we found a nice sales assistant who made the process easy. Worth a visit if you're in the market just because their range is so big

Lovely and clean, staff are very polite. Nice selection of furniture and rugs.

I know way back I gave a brilliant review. But that was the biggest mistake I made . After waiting 20 weeks for our order os over £1500.00 to arrive , using the said ite to sit on . We have now complained, we now have to sit on pillows because the whole padding has collapsed . Never again will we go back . Now waiting 10 + weeks for them to come a do a repair .

It's a shame i can't leave a 0/5 star review Been robbed of nigh on £230 from DFS after we paid money to have an alteration done and the sofa still turned up wrong! Wouldnt give our refund back initially and when they did, they refunded the finance account rather than our bank account where the money came from!! They're rufusing they made a mistake and are refusing any further actions. So just to sum up, we paid for alterations, sofa was still wrong, and we're still out of pocket.

Awful product with awful customer service in my opinion based on my recent experience. Took 3 months to get someone to come out to see the faults with our sofa. The material is ripped and stuffing coming out due to faults with the recliner mechanism. The sofa is now lop sided. The basic issues we have are not covered by the guarantee. The service agent who came out suggested putting some foam into the sofa would correct the structural and mechanical faults? Really? We also paid extra for the stain protection but this doesn't cover our issues either. We are still paying for a faulty sofa. My advice would be to ask detailed questions about what happens if your product develops faults. What marks exactly are covered by the stain protection. It won't take you long to find many other disappointed customers .. I'm sure there are some who don't have issues .. but you only find out how good customer service is when you have an issue. This was an awful experience for us.

This is what I have been left with after placing an order with DFS in Droitwich on 18th July. Having waited patiently until the end of October despite having emailed Michele Valentine, who despite my using the email address she wrote on the back of the order and my never having received an undelivered message through my email account, has never received a message from me. Finally, got a message from DFS call centre on 20th October to say my sofa was ready for delivery and they would deliver on Monday 25th October. To ensure the delivery drivers could get the sofa in on Monday I cleared the furniture and even had the door to my lounge removed. Contacted the call centre on Saturday who sent through a message through to Michele who contacted me on Saturday. Received a further text from call centre giving me a time slot of 7.00 to 10.00 on Monday, 25th. Waited until midday and eventually got through to someone who said that there was an 90 minute delay. By 3.30 still no sofa, so waited another hour to be to be told that the sofa had not even arrived at the depot. Could not tell me when I will receive my sofa, even though it had been confirmed. Call centre operative then said he could arrange a loan sofa but then backtracked to say there were not any. Totally disgusted went back to the branch in Droitwich to find that Michele, even though she said she would call me on Monday, was not actually in work on that day. Was dealt with by sales advisor called May who initially tried the tack of telling me that they had tried to deliver but I was not in but then came back to say that the sofa had not even arrived in the depot and had in fact had still not reached Felixstowe. Strange when the spiel you get when you are put on hold by DFS call centre talks about handcrafted sofas made in the UK!! Just another load of lies. A bit like their idea of service. More lies...just cheap tat shipped sometime never from China and sold at a huge markup. So disabled with arthritis of the spine, I am now left with an empty living room. Thanks a bunch Michele of DFS. It might have been nice of you to check in your warehouse on Saturday to ensure that my sofa was actually there before you phoned me on Saturday.I might have held on to my old sofa. Do yourselves a favour and go somewhere else. I really wish I had. I might have something other than floor to sit on right now!! I also went to the store on 25th October to be told that they would see what they could find a loan sofa. After all, the showroom is full is display models actually for sale. Needless, this was just a ruse to get a older disabled woman who had become an inconvenience out of the store. AKA... another example of DFS lies.
