   I've had a great experience with Ware & Kay solicitors. First time buyer here, did some research and went for a firm that was under the conveyancing quality scheme. Definitely did not disappoint. Great communication and on the ball with every step of the purchasing process which you won't get with online solicitors. Worth every penny. Had some last minute issues with the lender and seller’s solicitor and was not expecting to complete before the holidays. However, everything went through smoothly because the team was quick and had excellent coordination with those involved in the purchase. Shoutout to Catherine, Holly, Claire, Mana, and Ewan. This team did an amazing job! Mana coordinated with everyone during the last day of completion for the year and made everything run so smoothly despite unexpected last minute issues. Great work from everyone and I can't recommend them enough.

   We have used Ware & Kay for many years covering powers of attorney, wills, probate and, most recently, the sale of a retirement flat. We have always found their service to be top quality. The flat sale proved to be very demanding. One buyer pulling out at the last minute and a very un-cooperative leaseholder so the whole process has taken over two years but I would like to mention that we are very grateful to Simone who handled everything with patience and skill. I do not hesitate to recommend them.

   Will never use them again. Slow - other people in the chain caught up despite a 2 month head-start and no complications. Incapable of effectively scanning official documentation - wonky, unreadable. Outdated voicemails (Christmas leave in June). Poor communication - seems they do not talk to each other in the same office and ask for documents already requested by a colleague. Jargon filled emails which repeatedly needed clarification/explanation. Ended up having to go through their formal complaints procedure in the middle of selling/buying a house - the last thing anybody needs.

   Pearson & Ward are conveyance for our house sale, and we had had little or no communication with our conveyer , if there was communication it was either myself or my wife asking for an update, and we were meet with, “ I was ask them to contact you” and we never were contacted, but received an email to say, can you sign this, this seemed as a reminder that we are a customer. We did speak to our conveyor the Wednesday before the jubilee break, BUT when we rang the Monday after, we were informed she had left, not even the decency to inform us she was leaving. Communication is the key to a happy customer.

   Holly and Gill in the Conveyancing team oversaw the sale of our property. We can’t recommend them highly enough. In the face of the other party’s obstinate and obstructive solicitors who repeatedly asked baffling and unreasonable questions - sometimes several times over - Gill and Holly kept calm and, more importantly kept us calm. They did everything possible to expedite the process, systematically working to remove blockages and answer queries, avoided legal jargon, always kept their word, were efficient and professional throughout and ultimately dragged the situation to a mutually beneficial outcome on the best possible timescale. Aside from their professional skills, they’ve both been an absolute delight to deal with - warm, courteous and caring - and take a genuine interest in their clients. If we hadn’t moved to a different legal system, we would engage their services again in future without hesitation.
