   Grim level of service. After an initial call where a quick triage of the facts were given. I was told to sit tight and somebody would come back to me for extended details once Oakwood have looked into it a bit. Over the next two weeks, I called to supply various pieces of evidence but never heard anything at all. Then, on one random day I got an email saying there was no evidence and not enough information. You guys were meant to call me back. I’ve been sitting waiting for you. And my injury has gotten worse with rest instead of better. You guys are disgusting.

   In 2021 I started a claim against a former employer for a work related injury. I found Oakwood solicitors by a simple google search. At first I did a short consultation over the phone which didn’t take long at all. I was then contacted by a solicitor called Asimah Ali. She took me threw all the steps of how things would go. Asimah is 100% professional. She kept me informed at every step and not once did I have to chase for an update. The case took around two years to complete. At some points I was unsure that we’d get a good result because of some discrepancies but Asimah kept on going and in the end we got a very satisfactory outcome. Very happy with the service provided and would recommend Oakwood solicitors to anyone searching for a solicitor.

   Slow to respond to a the degree that they ignore you despite having already taken quite of your time and energy. No respect for their customer. Very disappointed and would not recommend. I specifically asked to discuss the fee options with an email from 23 Aug and a follow up on 12 Sep, writing "Could you please let me know when we could discuss Oakwood solicitors undertaking my case with an alternative payment option/funding arrangement, or if relevant inform me about these options accordingly via email." Still no response, but they have run to respond to my google review. Nothing else needs to be said.
