   Mr Zubair Ahmed of Ashmans was the Duty Solicitor at Huddersfield Police Station when I gave a voluntary interview concerning some criminal allegations made against me by a former friend. Mr Ahmed told me to shut up (in a gentlemanly way), established a rapport with the Investigating Officer, worked out a statement for me that the IO might feel able to accept as closing the case, spoke in mitigation, and sent me away to await a strict and well-deserved telling-off from the Police. I was very impressed by Mr Ahmed's professionalism and friendly way of dealing with me and the IO. Without him I would have talked myself into trouble within minutes.    I got invited to a voluntary interview at a police station to discuss an allegation made against me. I rang Ashman's Solicitors and got some advice from one of the partners Zahid Majheed. He was very knowledgeable and outlined the possible outcomes very clearly. He then accompanied me to the police station and interview. The outcome was that the case was dropped and no further action was taken. I was extremely happy with the service from Mr Majheed.
