   We were strongly advised by our broker to use this company for the conveyancing for the sale of our house, and the purchase of our new home. They did not disappoint! As sometimes happens, the process was not straightforward, which frays the nerves, it can also be very stressful and frustrating! Bethany was our solicitor, she was simply brilliant, always available and quick to get things done when needed. More importantly she kept us calm and informed throughout. Glad to say we are happy and settled in our new home. She is a credit to the firm and profession. Thank you! ☺️

   Zack and Laura were nothing short of delightful to work with, and deserve a special commendation for their tireless efforts on my case(s) - three simultaneous purchases / sales. Holden Smith were recommended by my mortgage advisor and I have zero regrets, from the onset they were reliable, trusty, proactive and communicative. I can assure you, if not for their work ethic, this whole thing would have fallen through, but they kept at it, right to the very end.    This review has been a long time coming.. Sold my house back in April and also had a help to buy on it. I can honestly say the company is brilliant, it was local, had good reviews and so changed from the estate agent solicitor to this one after having seen more bad reviews than good from them, and I am so glad I did. There’s no denying the service is good and the work is clear and everyone I came in to contact with was good, but every single one of my props go to Laura Wheatley. Laura is the most professional, efficient, honest, loveliest person I have ever dealt with.. in any company I’ve had business with. Laura literally deserves all the good that comes to her. It was my first time selling a house and I was leaving the country at short notice and she made everything so seamless with fantastic communication. Thanks so much Laura and I’m so sorry it’s taken me so long to write this but I hope you get the recognition you absolutely deserve and more ☺️

   If you are considering getting divorced I would highly recommend Holden Smith Law. I was put in touch with Leanne Pollard based in Leeds who is a highly experienced family lawyer and it showed. Nothing was two much trouble and she dealt with everything really efficiently. Having started my divorce with another solicitor and been bogged down in a nasty court process it was so refreshing to have someone as approachable and responsive as Leanne. Divorce is a horrible process and identifying a friendly solicitor at a modern no nonsense law firm is essential.

I`ve been concerned reading through all the negative reviews and I`m aware every case is different, but you know what?, these guys are professionals. I`ve been in touch with Amy, Aiden and Saira. There are absolutely no doubts I would choose them again. Communication over phone or email, exchange of information or updates, nothing but 5 Stars. All the paperwork, searches done superfast and completion in 2 months and 3 weeks. You really need nothing more than this. Have them on your case and see it for yourself. I would absolutely recommend the whole team, very well done.

   I was the seller and Holden Smith were working on behalf of the buyer of my property. Even the estate agent said they are the worst conveyancing company they've ever dealt with. 25 weeks to complete a simple case with no chain. This company went weeks without replying to my solicitor, the estate agent and even the buyers to the point were I was going to pull out of the sale. I highly advise you avoid this company. I don't know what their problem they have but they are useless!
