I live just down the road and popped into the pub for a few drinks. It's probably going to become my local. Nice friendly people and a good pint of Guinness.

This is an absolute gem of a pub! Located ideally not too far out of Liverpool centre, just out enough just in enough well a great little train station just round the corner to get you back in the centre. The pub has beautiful features inside with traditional fittings, the rooms are lovely & clean with great views across the Mersey and room rates very reasonable. The breakfast is absolutely amazing as are all the staff. Barbara and all the ladies who work there as well as the customers and Tony who took our bags to our room are so warm & welcoming and by the time you leave you feel like one of the family. Had a great time and plan a return visit in the the summer! Well worth a visit! Thank You everyone X

A real estate gem of a place, just a few minutes away from Brunswick Station and 4 minutes from Liverpool Street Central. Full range of room types are available, with Barbera the owner and her staff offering 1st rate service and hospitality. Breakfast is included, which is huge and very tasty. The bar is lively at times and reasonably priced. Lots of history in this authentic old docklands pub. Have booked up for another weekend in October. Prices are great also.

Peglegs... Shall we made a landmark of Liverpool! Great little traditional boozer. Knowledgeable staff of the local area friendly and eager to help. there are also comfortable rooms available above the pub if you're looking for a cheap place to stay not far from the town centre. Taxis to the town centre cost about £7 or you could always ask one of the locals to give you a quick lift there will be up for a making a few quid too!
