Very lovely hotel with amazing hosts. Good food clean rooms really comfy beds had some of the best sleep in a while. If you’re ever in the area 100% recommend especially for the price, very cheap.
The person who left without paying when i was there should be a shamed of themselves the hotel is spotlessly clean he only put on about it being not being clean to get out of paying jo and azzif who own the hotel cant do enough for you ive been staying there 15 years sometimes 4 times a year who ever you are you must have do e it before he didnot have the guts to talk to the owners
Traditional guest house type of hotel. the warm nature of the hosts lent a personal touch to our stay.the hosts were kind enough to make a breakfast sandwich for my daughter and to be honest that was one of the best sandwiches that my daughter had eaten in a while
Pleasant stay in a traditional 'guest house' type hotel. Well looked after by our host. The environment could benefit from some modernisation and some furniture was dated. Overall, a hotel I would gladly book again.
Enjoyed our stay, in a constructive sense the room we stayed in would be greatly enhanced with some new handles to various doors and drawers, the mattresses though substantial were way too soft for us. Joe our host does fantastically, most helpful, the rooms just need a good freshen. Wish you well.
Booked for me by my work. I always give 5 stars. Greeted with a warm friendly welcome. Clean comfortable room with en-suite. The usual tea and coffee making facilities in the room. I had the veggie breakfast. This was all the full English components less the bacon and sausage. I was given extra to make up for it though. Nice, clean friendly place to stay. Recommended. Important context: My experience was a 1 night stay and does not represent this establishment in it's entirety. No-one in hospitality sets out to provide a poor experience. Anyone can have an off day
Very helpful and friendly couple run the hotel, nice comfortable room with en-suite bathroom. Lovely breakfast included too, would definitely stay again
Great location lovely clean room. Breakfast excellent. Proprioter can't do enough to ensure your stay is comfortable. Only one thing they had us down as Denton or something similar lol. Think it was my Scottish accent that threw them
Stayed here in February and will hopefully get to stay again in the future. Family run hotel. Warm and friendly. Room very clean and tidy. Sensibly priced Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions, normal breakfast service wasn't available, but I was still offered a room service hot breakfast sandwich (nice touch).
Lovely clean room, beds very comfortable, lovely nights sleep. Landlady really nice and very friendly. Breakfast was good. Very impressed and would definitely return. Train station only 10 minutes walk, and plenty trains into Liverpool. Highly recommended.
