   An ebike crashed into the back of my car (taxi) while I was stationary in April 2025. The rider took responsibility, the bike insurance was extremely difficult to deal with they tried everything to stop this claim and not to pay. Lyons davidson solicitors took on this case, Bethany Chandler the claim handler was very Professional, she listened to me to understand what had occurred. She constantly kept me updated through email & phone the progress of the case. Bethany Chandler handled the case with Excellence, in her Professional manner, with the third party who continually put obstacles in this case so they would avoid paying, Bethany Chandler with her Legal Expertise knowledge continued to challenge the third party with facts and details. Bethany Chandler was always prompt in communicating to me when I asked questions of concern. Bethany Chandler took ownership and was dedicated and remained committed to this case to achieve results. Bethany Chandler was always patient and professional, truly outstanding. Bethany Chandler has wrote to my insurance so that this case is non-fault, all my no claims discount returned and full payment has been made by the third party.    Worse solicitors ever, it’s been a year and still haven’t received my payment, my case handler never ever ever ever ever ever has once spoken to me on the phone just through the portal, they take ages to get back to you. They say one thing and they do opposite, it’s ridiculous never ever seen anything like this before, I shouldn’t have went with this people from the start. They received my payment and they said to me I will be receiving in a weeks time, I rang up and they said they have no information only my case handler can reach to me. Even though my case handler is never never ever available to speak to. It’s disgusting, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SOLICITORS one bit because they just take the piss. The people who work the are useless and can’t wait to get off the phone to a customer, unbelievable behaviour.

   Total shambles of a company. Dealing with Kelsey Morgan and literally have to send 3/4 messages every time to get a response. Dragging out a very straightforward claim now for two years. When you call you get pushed through to a dead line. Completely unprofessional. If you're with LV insurance this is the terrible legal cover your are paying extra for. Totally useless.

   I was injured in a car accident in July 2023. The other driver was at fault and fully admitted liability. I was seen in October 2023 for an independent medical assessment. In January 2024 the report was submitted for me to sign. It was inaccurate and it has taken Lyons Davidson 15 months to obtain a revised report and get my medical records. I have heard nothing for months. The absolute worst solicitors I have ever dealt with. Messages either go unread or they don't reply. Nobody rings, despite repeated requests to discuss the matter over the phone. Over 2 years and they've done nothing to resolve my case. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Absolutely abysmal customer service.

   I was a passenger in a car accident in 2023 and my case was handled through my father in law’s insurance with this firm. Liability was disputed, and after waiting a whole year they suddenly told me they could no longer represent me due to a “conflict of interest.” Why wait an entire year to say this, when they knew the situation from the start? I moved to another firm who were outstanding, professional, responsive, and I received my settlement in May 2025. The difference in service was night and day. Meanwhile, my father in law is still stuck with this firm and has not even received an offer yet, despite the accident being over two years ago. Their communication is poor, the progress is painfully slow, and they do not take cases seriously. We are now considering reporting them to the Ombudsman. I would strongly advise avoiding this company, there are far better solicitors out there who will actually fight for your case.

   I was directed to Lyons Davidson by my insurance company (LV). I personally did not deal with any individuals by used their Web Portal. Because I had previously made sketches of the accident and had witnesses, it was really a clear case that the other driver was in the wrong. The Portal worked; the emails were frequent, and I was able to easily upload the evidence. In all , it worked for me.

   Lyons Davidson were instructed by my insurance company to handle my accident claim. Their online portal was very good and meant I had access to all documents and correspondence. The only comment I would make is that the claim handler did not necessarily keep me abreast until I chased up but I guess that must be because of workload. They got an equitable result as far as I am concerned.

   Avoid at all costs, the worst solicitors I have ever had the pleasure to deal with in my life. If I could have given zero star I would have done. The levels of communication are like nothing I have experienced ever. You have to do all the chasing and as noted by many other already they "Customer portal" is a waste of time. They never answer messages for weeks. Emails are the same and the only way you get to find out anything is to call. Rest assured you will have to do all the chasing, they will never contact you to keep you up to date or even push your claim for you. The speed in which their process your claim is a joke. To be quite frank the company should be ashamed of itself on how it conducts it's behaviour. I have a simply not at fault claim in which liability was admitted within the first 1-2 weeks. However here I am over a year later and I am no further on. You simply never get answer's from them and I can't see a resolve coming anytime soon. I have never come across a company with sure poor levels of communication and customer care. I was provided this company by my insurers and did not select them through choice. However if anything ever happens again in the future, I will be sure to ask who is representing me. I can not stress enough how much I would avoid this company and I will make sure I advise anyone I know or who asks to do the same. It is not a company name I will forget in a hurry, but it is for all the wrong reasons. Lyon Davidson, hang your heads in shame!

   Very poor service. My insurance company really need to change to a more competent service. They don't read messages on the portal for weeks. They don't call you back when they say they will. The case handlers are rarely there to speak to. My case took 8 months to resolve. They don't argue for your case. THEY SIMPLY DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT CAR INSURANCE CASES. Avoid avoid AVOID.
