   I recently used Brearley’s Solicitors to help me through my divorce. From the very beginning, everything felt quite daunting, but Jayne at Brearley’s guided me with such patience and reassurance. She even sat with me while I was speaking to the court and helped me understand each step, which gave me real confidence during a very emotional and challenging time. Her assistant Jill was a genuine delight to speak with whenever I called the office. Always pleasant and always kind, she made every interaction that little bit easier. I would highly recommend Brearley’s Solicitors. If the rest of the firm is as good as their Matrimonial Department, they are a brilliant first place to go when you need to talk to someone.

   Olivia and her colleagues at Brearleys, Morley office, were very helpful and professional. Olivia talked us through every aspect of the documents, making sure we understood everything and incorporating any simple or slightly strange requests we had. Despite having done nothing with our Wills, since they were originally set up over 25 years ago, Olivia made the process of updating them and setting up the Powers of Attorney seem very straightforward and simple.    I would highly avoid using these solicitors, based on my experience the woman Carolyn dealing with my sale, was very rude whenever speaking on the phone despite me being overly friendly every time. Then unfairly billed me when no work had yet been done on my sale without giving any opportunity to sort my sale out causing a great amount of stress and upset.

   Had an initial 30 minute free call as shown on website with Jayne Shorrock, call was positive and thorough, however work couldn't be completed on the case until solicitor returned from annual leave and once I had paid £300 on account. My case was too time conscious therefore decided to continue with existing firm, therefore did not deposit £300 and did not instruct Brearley's to work on my case. They then chased me for £219.00 for supposed work completed and threatened me with legal action, eventually settled on £179.50 and reluctantly paid. Lack of clarity and understanding on their pricing, so make sure you ask this when speaking with them. Left a very sour taste and would not recommend.
