The worst solicitor I have ever dealt with. Uncontactable, constantly out of office or on annual leave. I only managed to speak to my solicitor Paulette twice in 6 months in what was a drawn out process (and was only for the purchase of a house, not the sale). The receptionist Sue was rude and constantly huffing and puffing down the phone. AVOID

The people who purchased my property used this Firm - They ignored my solicitor for weeks, then said they had not received information which had been sent to them 6 weeks previously. The estate agent and my buyer were constantly chasing them. On completion day they held onto the funds as long as they possibly could, they avoided my solicitor's calls for hours and sent the funds as late in the day as possible.. I have never heard of this firm but I certainly know who they are now and would never recommend them to anyone. They made the whole process more stressful than it needed to be, they do not seem to appreciate they are dealing with people's lives.

Currently dealing with GN law with a straight forward transfer of equity case. Progress is incredibly slow. Trying to get an update is very challenging, and when you do they are far from informative, almost as if it’s not their problem in certain aspects. I you can choose any other company to represent you. I may be doing the same the way things are going. One star only because you can’t give any less.

Zero stars would be more accurate. Gaddes Noble transferred a property to me in August 2021 sent me an invoice and a piece of correspondence, since then I have had no correspondence apart from one email, about 18 months ago. I have nothing from the Land Registry to show the property has been transferred to me. Despite me emailing and telephoning over the last three years, I have had no response, other than promises of call backs. Yesterday, when I asked to whom I should submit a formal complaint, the receptionist did not know but said she would find out and email me. Not surprisingly, she hasn't! I would avoid this solicitors at all costs.

I have used Gaddes Noble previously to buy property and have been very happy with their service. Upon trying to instruct them again recently, the online 3rd party systems they now use to carry out financial and ID checks have made me seriously rethink ever using them. Trying to jump through the various digital hoops has taken up hours of my time and driven me almost insane. The solicitors themselves are sympathetic but unable to help as they "can't see what you see on your screen". The system for checking the source of funds requires customers to connect it to their bank account. Really???!!!! I asked Nat West if that was advisable and they said that I could do it at my own risk!!!!! Gaddes Noble's head office needs to seriously rethink the systems it uses to carry out these checks or they will certainly lose any future custom from me.

Absolutely awful, never responded to emails and were impossible to get through to on the phone. Repeatedly sent my personal information (including name, DOB, bank details, home address) to an incorrect email address and just shrugged it off when I raised it as an issue. Everything was done "digitally" which actually means they email everything to you and you have to print it off and scan it back. I requested documents to be posted out to me and was told they couldn't because of covid concerns. I also had a situation where the sellers had incorrectly filled in the fixtures and fittings form saying that they were excluding the fitted kitchen. I raised this (couldn't believe that the solicitor didn't pick it up, but anyway) and they just shrugged and said it was probably a mistake and they wouldn't request another form. I had to fight and fight to get it redone. Took them over a year to send me the final documents and then they sent them to the wrong address even after I emailed twice to say I had moved. Read the other reviews and avoid!

Worst experience with a solicitor ever. If i could give 0 stars i would. Had to de instruct them before we lost our buyer. After instructing in November and initial comms to be fairly quick and welcome pack filled in. They did virtually nothing for 2 months. 4 weeks before replies to emails, nobody available on the phone. Ignoring repeated requests from myself, housing association staff, estate agents and buyers solicitors. Absolutely 0 customer service and 0 duty of care to clients. Our new conveyancer has done more on our case in 24 hours than they did in 3 months. Avoid at all costs.

Very slow progress throughout the conveyancing. Received demand for stamp duty which should have been paid. Land registry is still not updated. No replies to contact form or emails to PM Law. Have contacted land registry to get more information. Seems they do not care once they have your business they will take their own time to do things unless they just don't bother at all

Would never use again, slow, rude, no communication, Sue is incredibly rude with her huffing and puffing at you down the phone if you dare to question the process or how long something is taking. Paulette never seems to actually be at work and or is "working from home'' and can't be contactable. Once we kicked off about not been kept in the loop the communication did improve slightly to an almost acceptable standard. Spend your money elsewhere with a company that cares.

Avoid! Would give 0 stars if possible. I had what could be one the most straight forward house purchases possible. I had no chain and a was a cash buyer (could easily prove money wasn't laundered etc), the seller also had no chain, no complications with boundaries etc. Despite this the sale took 7 months. Whenever I called for updates I was always told by reception that they were busy and someone would call me back, they never did. The receptionist was rude and didn't care about any concerns raised over lack of contact. They repeatedly ignored emails when I tried that instead. Didn't do anything to chase the other solicitors when we were waiting for info/documents, that always fell to myself and the estate agent. Who knows how long it would have taken if it had been left to them to progress things without intervention. Repeatedly spelt my name as Nicola not Nicole on key documents and in their emails to me, even after I'd pointed out this wasn't my name (unbelievably unprofessional when dealing with legal ownership of property and also just common courtesy when in correspondence with your own client). For example, information sent to HMRC was in the name Nicola, which I've had to correct myself. Didn't send off stamp duty payment on time so I got several warnings from HMRC about non payment over many weeks after the sale had finally gone through. 6 months later I've had to enquire with Land Registry myself when I found the register was still not updated, who state that they haven't heard anything about the sale which is why the old owners are still shown on the registry. Absolutely horrible to deal with, do not use this firm! I can evidence every single thing I've mentioned above.
