We had a very lovely time staying here! The area was so convenient with everything within a short walk, the house was a good size with everything we needed and with very comfy beds and a good strong shower. Brilliant place!
The house is the ideal place for visiting Chester. Location wise, it's perfect. It's within the city walls meaning it's no more than 5 minutes walk to a multitude of restaurants, the cathedral or the river. Despite the central location it's very quiet, on a dead end road with no passing traffic. Parking is also catered for with a dedicated private spot at the end of the road (50 yards away). As for the house itself - it's perfectly laid out and impeccably clean. It has everything you need. The beds are also very comfy! All in all, it's a beautifully presented house in the perfect location! I wouldn't hesitate to return or to recommend it.
Absolutely fantastic property. Great communication before, during and after our stay. Location superb. Quiet, but within 3 mins walk to restaurants. Free car parking. Eco friendly property. Beautifully decorated for Christmas . We couldn’t have asked for more. Will defo return when we come back to Chester. Highly recommend
We loved the holiday home…. It was warm and well equipped with many homely touches. The location was excellent… in walking distance to all historic beauties. Paula, the host was quick to respond and very helpful. We would definitely recommend this property.
The Pause was a lovely place for my sister and me to stay for five days while visiting English relatives. I felt at home right away in this terraced house, on a quiet street but right near the center of Chester. The whole place was sparkling clean and had a fresh, pleasant atmosphere. The beds were very comfortable, and I slept well while recovering from the overnight flight from Boston. My sister availed herself of the yoga equipment every morning. We did not meet Paula in person, but she was a helpful host via email. I would stay here again if I am in Chester and need a two-bedroom place.
First class five star acommadation. Everything was perfect. The host, Paula was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Paula even took the trouble to go in on the morning of our arrival to turn the heating on. Fantastic location close to all restaurants and town centre yet in a very quiet part of the town. Parking close by and very safe.
So well equipped, cute, comfortable, amazing beds, clean, modern touches in a characterful home, attentive hosts… and bang in the centre of Chester. We will be back :)
A well equipped house well located near the centre of Chester. Very good and helpful information provided before the trip and easy to access (via website) during the stay. A 10 minute walk (max) from the centre of Chester which was an excellent place for a short break. I would definitely recommend this place.
Thank you Paula for a wonderful stay . The property was thoughtfully finished with every amenity we could need . Paula also provided us with an extra cot and high chair for our twin girls and was so helpful at the booking and planning stage . Paula also dropped off parking passes at the last minute which was so kind to do . Above all we were so grateful when she babysat our twins on the Wednesday night allowing us some precious adult time and to enjoy an evening out in lovely Chester . The accommodation was central to the city centre and all in walking distance. Great location , great host spotlessly clean . Thank you so much for a memorable stay . We will be back .
I really enjoyed the stay with my family here! The apartment is very modern, cozy and kids friendly with some toys and books for children, not to mention some devices like a high chair. It’s very central so everything is 5 min away pretty much including the river, Bridge street, Roman garden and so on. We would definitely like to come back!
