Registration- ck68 kpu Reported to Leeds council and police - tried calling office but no help at all not really bothered. Driver’s license should be revoked

Rang up to be told they don’t do a specific area in Leeds which is less than a 1 minute drive out of the city centre. What is the point of having a taxi service.

Terrible experience. Booked a cab with this company for Saturday night more than 24 hours in advance, only to receive a text 5 minutes before cab was due saying it had been cancelled! Spoke to a very unhelpful person on the phone who just told me no cabs were available and so they couldn't do anything. I was left stranded with no transport for my wife and I and two children, so had no alternative but to walk through Leeds city centre on Saturday night, not the most pleasant experience. What is the point of taking the booking if they can't provide the service that has been booked?!? Certainly would never use again and would recommend others not to bother either!

Last weekend, I booked a taxi from the city centre to Beeston. At the time of booking, I asked the receptionist to either take the payment in advance or fix the fare properly. She refused to take the payment (which makes no sense—what’s the point of having a card machine on the counter if they won’t use it?) and said she would fix the fare, which she did. During the entire journey, the driver was on the phone, which made me feel really unsafe, especially since it was a night booking. Then, to make things worse, at the end of the journey, he demanded £3 more than what the receptionist had told me. I told him that wasn’t the agreed fare and said I would call the control room to confirm. Suddenly, he dropped £2 from the extra amount and insisted, “No, no, just pay this and go.” It was late, and I honestly just wanted to get home safely, so I paid him and left. Today, I went back to their city centre office to book another taxi and decided to share my experience with the receptionist (a healthy lady with glasses). She clearly didn’t like it and brushed it off, saying she couldn’t do anything because she didn’t know which driver it was. Fair enough—but then I asked her to take the payment for today’s journey in advance, and again she refused. Not only that, she showed clear frustration, raised her voice at me, and acted like I was the one being unreasonable. The attitude of both the drivers and staff is absolutely unprofessional. There’s no sense of safety, no system in place, and no customer service. It’s honestly one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had with a taxi service. Completely unacceptable.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. prebooked on the app as I am 25 weeks pregnant and wanted to make sure I wasn't having to wait for a taxi after travelling with work. It was all confrimed and I stood waiting outside Leeds station for 20 mins for the app to flash up showing it had been cancelled as there were no drivers in the area. I turned around and saw a Central car come up the road and turn right around without coming into the station taxi area. I called and was told they hadn't cancelled it at all (and we must have cancelled it??) and they wouldn't send the car back and we had to book another one on the app. Disgusting service, won't ever use again.

My niece was upset because she got stranded in Leeds. The driver made sure she was OK and phoned me to also let me know my niece was safe and she had got home safe. He even went above and beyond the duty of a taxi driver by even walking her to her door to make sure she was safe as it was late at night and really dark. Will definitely use this company whenever I am in Leeds and need a taxi. Great service
