   I bought a small CD rack and another dresser a couple of days back . While the shop itself was nice and the staff IN the shop were helpful , the delivery was absolutely disastrous. Two men ( my parents were home for the delivery ) treated the items with utmost disregard. When mum told them to please handle the items a little cautiously she was told - don’t tell me what to do . Let me do my job very rudely . ( we did pay £41 for delivery for the items and paid for the items as well obviously so we do have the right to ask that the items we have purchased be treated with some care ). When they heard my parents conversing - they were told - you’re in UK , don’t you know you’re supposed to speak in English . This is beyond unacceptable. My mum asked what business it was of their’s what language she communicated with her husband in and that was quite a strange thing for them to say as they weren’t speaking to each other in English . They were terrible from the get go . I can see from the other reviews that there have been a LOT of issues about your delivery staff but besides saying sorry online I don’t think anyone has done anything about it . I’m just wondering how many more negative reviews BHF needs before they decide that this is not the way anyone should be speaking to ANYONE. This is quite a contrast to the BHF store which I’ve been to in Lincoln which is such a great atmosphere. I don’t know if BHF are going to address this but I will make a formal complaint. It’s a shame really because our experience at the store was itself was good .

   Unfortunately, I found some of the staff (manager?) quite rude and uncharitable. While looking around, I saw another customer politely ask if one of the items could be further discounted, she explained it was a bit expensive and then the staff member went over to the manager (?) a few metres away to relay this. The manager then promptly said "if she can't afford it then tough". I don't really see why anyone should buy anything from here if they're being treated like this. It doesn't say anywhere that prices are fixed and tbf BHF are lucky they even get customers considering some stores have closed down. The items are overpriced too. I literally saw a wardrobe only £20 cheaper than a similar one on ikea!! You can get better deals that are fairer on marketplace and much nicer sellers too. I also don't quite see what the "research" this charity is helping to support when most heart conditions are down to a poor diet in the UK anyway.

   Very disappointed with my experience today. I called ahead and showed photos of two bedside tables I wanted to donate, and was told it was fine. But when I arrived, a middle-aged man came out and rudely shouted that they don't take them, saying, "We don’t just take every cheap thing people bring." Another woman also spoke very disrespectfully. I was just trying to donate to a good cause, and the way I was treated was completely uncalled for.

   Had a very bad experience here, The team was extremely rude and racist. One man and a woman insulted us and tried to make us feel worthless. My partner went in earlier to donate clothes and shoes and we had a piece of furniture to donate, one person working there said it was fine, however when he went back in with the furniture he was treated utterly rude. They were 100% racists and did not like the fact that we were there donating which seemed ridiculous. I will be making a formal complaint against them as well as this is no way to treat humans in 2025. Very disappointing.

   Requested delivery . As the property is for an elderly gentleman, we wanted it furnished before he moved in .We do have to get someone there on day of delivery . They can ask someone to call us advising of on way but can't guarantee it . Can only say between 12 and 7 o clock. If we miss delivery ( if they do contact us to say we on way ) then the charge for another delivery . Asked how we could get around this . No answers. Unsupportive and unhelpful and apparently delivery drivers are a law to them selves. This is supposed to be a charity that helps people . Didn't help me . Left without purchasing anything DO Not Recommend

   Furniture reasonable condition, but slightly overpriced especially the items that have been donated, 85 pounds for a single waldrobe that had been painted over , but add 40 pounds for delivery that is a joke for five miles, and extra for each flight of stairs, sorry but thats crazy,thanks for reply Luke you say your not aiming to sell to people in need you are trying to raise money? People who need shop in charity shops if I did not need I would buy new and donate to charity b

   Very poor service if you opt for home delivery there will send the goods on there own comfortable time and if delivery is missed again there will charge the full delivery charges for goods not delivered.

   Complete waste of time. Booked a furniture collection of a wardrobe that I no longer needed. Didn’t want to just dump it as it is in a perfectly good condition so thought this would be good. Yes I admit it’s almost 8ft tall but I rang up the store and put it on the collection form in which both said that was fine. Cut to today after waiting 5 days for collection and they turn up in a 2m van and won’t take it as it’s too big. Complete waste of time. As such I am going to cut it apart and dump it. Shame but I cba to deal with these people again
