   Excellent service provided by Zaidu, he has excellent knowledge of the different types of beds, mattresses, pillows, etc. Very patient and helpful, provided advice how to approach the process of testing different products, provided info on the warranties available and any additional details of the lifespan of the products. Professional and efficient. Other colleagues at the store also helped a lot.

   I would have given a 5-star rating; however, I do not appreciate comments made behind my back…! I visited Bensons for Beds to buy one of their most expensive mattresses. Initially, I intended to explore another reputable brand but ended up discovering a different option. My visit was brief as my son had an appointment, and I informed the salesman that I would return the following day. As I was leaving, I overheard both salesmen conversing, and one remarked, "they won't be back." Indeed, I will not be returning. If you have something to say, it should be said directly to me, or not at all. In any case, I have since purchased a mattress from another well-known retailer, opting for their highest quality model as well.

   It's been an excellent experience all round. Ian in the Croydon store was brilliant - very patient and gave a lot of really good advice before taking me through the purchase process, explaining everything as he went. I was then kept up to date with the progress of my order. The delivery process was very smooth - James and Andy were both really helpful. Andy took time to explain how to look after the mattress and checked everything was ok before they left. They've all be so great and I'll be recommending them to friends and family.

   The delivery person was excellent - he was efficient and kind and helpful and careful. He even waited for my helper to dust and hoover under where the bed sits. It was one of those rare really good experiences of service. Scott is to be commended on his customer care and attitude.

   Ordered a mattress which was due for delivery on the 5th of December 2022, which finally arrived on the 17th of February 2023, with no real explanation as to why there was a delay. We chose this particular mattress as it was available in the shortest lead time for my 75-year-old mother would not recommend Bensons.

   Terrible experience. got delivered a faulty mattress, has taken months to resolve, then they kept moving the delivery date unexpectedly without our consent, tried to leave us without a mattress for 2 weeks while heavily pregnant, then their delivery team refused to collect the faulty mattress despite this being agreed prior, wrong size mattress protector delivered, repeated inconsistent feedback from their customer service team giving wrong advice, wrongly got charged for re-delivery of new item even though this was replacing a faulty item. No end of hassle, will never use them again.

   The order was delivered on the day it was promised when placing the order and at the time we were told that it would be delivered. We were kept regularly in touch with the progress of the order over the 6 week period from placing of the order to delivery. On the day of delivery we received a phone call telling an accurate time for delivery. The order was taken upstairs with a minimum of fuss. Very happy to recommend Bensons.

   It was really a bad experience for us from the delivery team. I got a call from the delivery team in the morning and said will deliver the product within 30 min, so we rushed to our new home. I haven’t heard anything even after 2 hours and while calling back they said it was a misunderstanding and somebody else will deliver within 30 minutes. I was keenly expecting the delivery and the van come and passed away without stopping. Suddenly I called then only they came back. And they were so busy and frustrated during the delivery without any reason and there was a van parked on the side and I said to be careful while walking and they didn’t like it and shouted me and just threw the bed and protector towards me. I never ever expected this kind of nasty behaviour from Bensons end and never recommend their service

   I live on the 3rd floor. Lift was not operational yet and also lift to be commissioned is small and can only accommodate 4 people. I was told by the delivery driver that the bed and mattress can only be delivered through the lift which is beyond me as the bed and mattress wouldnt fit in the lift anyway. I can't imagine that Bensons expects me to carry the bed and mattress myself in spite of paying such large amount of money. I was given no other option but for the delivery done to the 1st floor. There seemed to be reluctance from the delivery driver to even get down from the lorry. In addition, he made absurd comments on why I need a big mattress and not opted for a smaller one. I wasn't aware that I need to consult your delivery driver before buying from you! The helper accompanying the driver was kind enough to deliver the bed to 3rd floor however the mattress was left on the 1st floor corridor and had to get support from my friends to get it into my home. Thank you Bensons for the fantastic and memorable delivery! I will cherish it for years to come.
