Do not use this company. Invested in furniture to last us but three years in like other reviews it’s falling apart. The seven year warranty is void as the company went into administration in July 2023. Avoid at all costs.
Appauling service and products. We purchased from Moda to get the 7 year warranty and 3 years in our furniture set that cost almost £4,000 is unusable due to the weave coming apart in all places. We spoke with Moda who assured us that they would deliver replacement furniture and when we chased the delivery we were told they had gone into administration and we would not be receiving anything.
Disgraceful service. Ordered in May, received partially delivered order and promised I would receive the remaining items in July. They received payment from the finance company. Then went into administration leaving me with an incomplete order. New company refusing to deliver remaining items; finance company refusing to cancel agreement. I have made it clear that I will not be financially liable for a partially completed order. Administrators not returning emails. Absolutely disgusting service and to see that moda are still trading, albeit not as a Ltd company, but selling the same furniture is criminal. Moda furnishings are nothing short of thieves.
Bought from them specifically for the 7 year warranty that you get (which of course is reflected in the purchase price compared to rival products). Went to make a claim on it, claim was accepted, then it all went quiet. Eventually found out they're in administration and the new owner, who bought all the assets, same website, same staff, is not honouring anything from the.old company. So basically we're screwed. Awesome. Needless to say, won't be buying from the new company.
Came here once to find furniture for our new house and definitely found what I was looking for. However, it took over 2 hours of searching and constantly asking over because the service here was terrible. I would've found what I was looking for and be on my way if the staff here answered my questions instead of pushing me away. Definitely a waste 1 star if I hadn't found what I was looking for
Wide selection of very good quality garden furniture, fairly priced, helpful sales assistant. You only find out how good a company is if there's a problem. There was one, it was sorted out quickly, efficiently, helpfully, with no quibbles. Strongly recommended
It was with some trepidation that we shelled out £3700 on our order. In fact, whilst the order took about 3 months to arrive, it DID arrive and whilst there was a small problem which was quickly and efficiently sorted out, it was all in satisfactory condition. It would have been better for them to have provided us with delivery update emails, but delays are to be expected at the moment (Brexit, Covid, shipping issues etc etc). Overall, the quality seems good and we are happy with our experience in using Moda.
18.10.21 - STILL NOTHING FROM YOU! RE: Joe Answer (Moda Furniture) I am outside of the 30 days by 15.5 months, and my order is not applicable for a refund. THIS IS MY PROBLEM. I have been waiting for that many months! When you have offered me a refund or replacement, I have chosen a replacement! If I knew it would take you 15.5 Months (still waiting), I would have never said I would wait for ONE MONTH! You never give a proper answer. You're so rude and disrespectful! I have fully paid £2,959.60 in one go, 15.5 months later, loads of stress, loads of hours of my life (DAYS IF TO PUT TOGETHER) on the phone and emails! Now I have to do it on google and waste my time and money on a solicitor. NOBODY SHOULD DO THAT! JUST HORRIBLE! Customer Service is so bad that even if the quality were good, I wouldn't want to deal with them! Purchased: 21.04.2020 NOW is 08.09.2021 ETON 8 SEAT OVAL DINING SET - Light Grey, with Navy blue cushions - MATCHING RATTAN LARGE STORAGE BOX Matching Umbrella ------------------------------------------ Cushions become white within two months and look like they're so old. Nails stick out of the table and chairs and become rusty, which is very evident in the light grey rattan. I have never even seen an umbrella! I wish I have never become their customer! Now I have to take them to court as they keep "feeding me" with "when they will have it, they will send it." Now they're saying they cannot collect it and give me a full refund! If I was paying monthly for the product and missed one payment, I bet they would be very quickly on the phone to collect the payment plus the late fees charges! How many more is there like myself?
Purchased a lovely corner set from these guys approx 18 months ago and recommended them to a number of my friends... well I did until today. Unfortunately the rain cover for my garden corner suite has got brittle and split in the sun so I called them only to receive quite a snotty attitude from the guy at Moda informing me that it has 12 months warranty and there's nothing more they can do to help me other than sell me a new one at £165... Which apparently is a lot better than the old one... so basically they knew the old one wasn't suitable and fit for purpose beyond a year yet still won't help. At the prices they charge I expect a certain amount of quality backed up excellent customer service, not what I received.
