I originally put down a deposit on my bed back in February, with the intention of collecting it within three months. However, due to a slipped disc and a long period of ill health, I was unable to follow through on the original timeline. Despite this, the team were so understanding and accommodating throughout — no pressure, no hassle, just genuine patience and kindness. When it came time for delivery, the gentleman who brought and assembled my bed was fantastic. He explained everything clearly, including how to care for the mattress properly by turning it regularly to prolong its life. His professionalism and knowledge really stood out. What truly moved me was how he handled a difficult situation — while delivering the bed, he was verbally abused by a neighbour for parking in a disabled bay, despite clearly having a valid badge. He dealt with it with so much calm and dignity, which just shows the kind of character he has. This kind of service is rare — respectful, professional, and caring from start to finish. I have visited the shop today for the first time. I have notices straight a way outstanding customer service. Patrick was amazing, polite and knowledgeable. Faultless ,efficient , honest and professional service from an independent trader. I found the shop online as I needed a bed in a hurry for my Uncle. I did not even have enough time to visit the shop as I do not live in the area. I discussed my needs with the owner, Patrick and he suggested different options. Within two days he delivered a perfect bed at a good price. It was delivered exactly on time and the delivery driver could not have been more helpful. He lifted the bed up on his own to the bedroom on the first floor. What a thoroughly pleasant experience. Highly recommend this shop.
After a very disappointing experience with a well known online furniture retailer, I couldn't face another night on a blow up bed. I phoned Bed Base at 10am this morning and by midday the most gorgeous mattress had arrived. What amazing service. And I am delighted with the mattress.
