Fabulous service! From the moment we walked in we were greeted by three very friendjy abd knowledgeable women. They allowed us time to look at and test the varying chairs before making our final decision which was to purchase a reclining chair. Frances led us seamlessly through the whole process. Thank you to all the staff. We would also like to thank the two kind and considerste gentlemen who delivered the chair. All in all a fantastic experience.
Excellent service is an understatement. HSL were recommended to us by a relative who purchased a 3 piece suite about 3 yrs ago, so we were not surprised at the warm welcome and expertise. The staff were brilliant with their advice and even brought a selection of chairs to my mother's home, due to being housebound. Because of this, my aunt is now in the process of purchasing a bed. I visited the store today and felt a warm welcome from the time we opened the door. A good range a chairs with multiple options and styles. What we loved was the different heights and widths so we were able to find the perfect chair for my mother in law. She suffers from arthritis of the hips and knees and after testing out furniture since 2019 I’ve never seen her so pleased. The most friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered. I could have sat and chatted all day. Hope to be back soon to purchase one for myself. Highly recommended.
I took my Aunty here this morning to initially buy an armchair that actually fitted her as she has been sitting in a chair that is far too big for her for many years, hence very uncomfortable. As we walked into the store we were approached by a lovely lady called Elaine who spent quite some time with us making sure that my Aunt's needs were met and making sure that her purchase was perfect for her. We left there some time later after purchasing not just an armchair but two plus a two seater sofa of which was all my doing by the way. Elaine and the other comfort specialists in store were more concerned about ensuring that my Aunt was happy rather than anything else. We were given tea, coffee and biscuits and even left the store with a matching set of beautiful cups and saucers courteous of HSL just because my Aunt said she liked them. There were absolutely no pressure tactics used, overall a very pleasant shopping experience. I would highly recommend this store, the staff are very polite, friendly but professional. Elaine, Karen and Dennis, you made an elderly lady and myself very happy, thank you!
Very helpful staff. Explained everything in detail. Chairs could be a bit cheaper but we have one chair and one to come.....very useful and comfortable chairs.
