We purchased 2 Bailey sofas in Nutmeg, both with recliner and power headrest, spending nearly Β£3,000 including insurance. Only one sofa arrived with the power headrest β the other didnβt, which is unacceptable in itself. To make matters worse, one of the sofas arrived looking and feeling USED. There is obvious creasing, a clear head indentation in the headrest, and it genuinely looks like someone has already been sitting on it. On top of that, there are marks, stitching that doesnβt line up properly, and what appear to be burn marks on the side of the other sofa. Overall quality is poor. The worst part? Our entire downstairs now smells horrible β like rotten bananas or sweaty socks (hard to describe, but itβs awful). Itβs embarrassing, upsetting and sickening, especially with kids in the house. My wife, the kids, and I are disheartened, angry, and gutted. When you spend this kind of money, you do not expect to receive damaged or used furniture. What really tops it off is the customer service β or lack of it. Iβve called 4β5 times and sent multiple emails, and weβve had no response whatsoever. Theyβre very happy to give you 5β service until theyβve taken your money, then youβre completely ignored. Honestly, based on our experience, do not buy sofas from Sofology.

I went to sofology thurrock with my dad today There today we had a look around at all of the sofas they have there at sofology thurrock They have a very lovely selection of sofas at sofology thurrock It was so lovely looking at all fo the sofas They looked very soft and comfy You have very lovely sofas at sofology thurrock I really like looking a their sofas and my dad does as well Kind and friendly staff Lovely service This place gets it's very first 5 out of 5 star rating by me Enjoy reading your google review by me Have a lovely rest of your day 5 stars all around

Donβt be fooled by the pleasant in-store experience. The staff were helpful and friendly when we were choosing our sofa β thatβs where the good service ends. Once we left the store, everything went downhill fast. Communication was virtually non-existent. We were given completely inaccurate delivery timeframes, which left us scrambling to rent a storage unit at our own expense. Despite being promised a one-hour delivery notice, none was provided. When the delivery finally arrived, the sofa looked like it had been thrown off a lorry and shoved back on. It was in awful condition β scuffed, dirty, and clearly damaged before it reached us. Even the delivery team admitted it looked like that when they collected it from the warehouse. Itβs worth noting that Sofology uses a third-party delivery company, so they distance themselves from any delivery issues. We submitted a formal complaint and β surprise β no response. Not even an acknowledgment that the complaint is being reviewed. At this point, we feel ignored and incredibly disappointed. For the price we paid, the service has been shocking. Youβd honestly get better treatment and better value from a second-hand furniture store. I strongly advise you to look elsewhere if you value your money, time, and sanity.

Very large showroom there is something for every taste feels like you are in sofa heaven. Lots of helpful staff to help with queries and lots of fabric and colour options to choose from. We visited on a Saturday afternoon although lots of people viewing there were many staff to help everyone. Would highly recommend a visit

Had purchased sofa online in good faith. I was told it was a cancelled order. Little did I know from the purchase day till now I would be left without my old sofas and to now without any sofa at all in my house. It all started on the delivery date in June 2021 to have the delivery cancelled on the day. That was not too bad as a replacement sofa came not on the promised day but two days later still no phone to let us know but they just turned up. When we got delivered the sofa we ordered, it was not a cancelled order, it was a shop floor sofa and came with damages. We were told to contact the office, took me 1 hour 45 minutes of waiting to get through, to be told we can have the delivered sofa returned and to be replaced with the same alternative. I have also purchased a 4 seater new, to be told they can deliver the set and would have a call back to let me know with a delivery date. 3 weeks has gone by had no call at all. I had then called waiting this time got 1 hour and 17 minutes to be told I shall get a call back the following week with an update of delivery. Once got a call back on a the following week Wednesday (though I had fully paid for the sofa) 10th August 2021 - the sofas had been sold to alternative customers in the 14th August and they have taken delivery of the items on the 26th August 2021. I have been waiting for a call back from the managers / been two weeks into September and still waiting. The have full payment from me but no sofa from sofaology there is a lot more that I have not added as it would take me at least 30 minutes to type. What a fβing joke. Still no call, still waiting times of over an hour to speak to someone
