“Has most of the items you would need for various pets. I have a ball python and the staff an knowledgeable about them and have the frozen rats i need for food. Staff all seem like genuine pet lovers/animal lovers which goes a long way in these kind of stores. Shoped here for many years for dog/snake/guinea pigs. Always helpfull.”

“This is definitely the place to shop for families especially if you like to entertain and great for businesses too. There is a large variety of food, beverages, confectionery, alcohol and some electrical goods as well. The majority of the goods sold here are sold in large quantities or bulk. Costco has a very busy small/medium cafe with a limited menu. There is a very large car park, which is free to park, and just at the end of the car park is a handy petrol pump. Everything that I have seen is wheelchair friendly.”

“You can’t go wrong with IKEA! Also really great to just arrive there and have a ridiculously cheap breakfast before you walk around. I think it’s an absolutely wonderful idea and I hope they keep doing it for a long time. The place wasn’t too busy, even though it was a Sunday, and the checkouts were fast. It’s always an easy place to get around, and you always seem to find exactly what you want to fill in those little spots in the house.”

“We were served by Scott today and he was very friendly and helpful. My mum managed to get her curtains and cushions from the Thurrock store and we loved having a good look round all the departments. We also had a pot of tea in the cafe which was lovely. There’s so much to browse in store that we need a tea break! Dunelm is one of our favourite shops and we always head there first for beautiful quality housewares.”

While unfortunately unable to find the particular size jacket (in this and 3 other stores), the assistance provided by Natasha to try and help was above and beyond. “I had a good experience buying my bedroom furniture with the help of Ghalib Rahman (Iby). From the first meeting during the measure-up, he was friendly, attentive, and mindful of my budget. He wasn’t a pushy salesman which I appreciated. He understood that I wanted the room to look good but also be practical, and he worked perfectly within that. Iby kept me updated all the way through and even helped expedite the delivery. The delivery team were also great — friendly, efficient, and got everything safely up to the first floor. The charter pack was a real help when it came to fitting. The after-sales team were equally good and helped me resolve a small issue quickly and without any hassle. Overall, recommended.”

“I'm sure other people have had bad experiences but honestly I couldn't fault our experience with Fabb Lakeside at all. The sales rep (can't remember name, sorry!! Lady with a Brummy accent?!) was so polite and friendly and definitely not at all pushy. We came back twice really unsure whether to go ahead and buy the sofa but at no point at all felt pressured.. in fact it was totally relaxed. She was very helpful when we had questions. We were told about 6 weeks which seemed very good for a large corner suite and would have been satisfied even if it took a little longer but 6 weeks after purchasing we got our call to say it's ready for delivery. Delivery was quick and tidy, they took all the rubbish with them. Genuinely couldn't fault a single step in the process. Maybe we were the lucky ones but considering we're super happy with our sofa and it was about £1000 cheaper than similar sofas elsewhere, I'd still say to consider this place!”

Sorry they moved from grays to South Ockendon as they were only a 10 minute walk from where I live. If what you want isn't in stock they will order it for you. A friend of mine had a new hob supplied and fitted, and highly recommends them”
