Got a drone from the store yesterday and was looking forward to using it. Just bear in mind the conditions were great when all of a sudden it took off then streamlined it to a wood block about 200 meters away and then disconnected. Then tried to phone the store where they hung up on me
Menkind is a shop for all us men who want to recapture our youth, from Star Wars collections to other fun stuff for all the family from boys to girls, all kind of ages you'll find it Right here under 1 roof, from Speakers to fun stuff, gifts for the whole family, I personally love this store, so why not pop in and who knows you might buy that 1 thing that will make you either smile or laugh, anyway have fun shopping here, I know I did and still do!!
Yesterday, 8th August 2025 me and my son (who has a very clearly visible disability within his body) was in the shop I left him to walk around by himself as he’s not confident and doesn’t like to leave my side and want to get him out of this habit which is all due to this particular reason that happened within MenKind and which makes it even more disheartening it was done by a member of staff. I was standing at the back of the shops right near the tills where this member of staff was (Ash I believe I saw his name to be on his name tag) I was just slowly following my son around so there was some distance between us as he was comfortable with doing that in a fairly busy shop at the time. I heard Ash calling over another on of his colleagues whilst looking and laughing straight towards my son. My son also heard and saw all of this as well and hasn’t stopped mentioning it since we left the shop and he is really upset about it because he loves going into the store cause it has all his favourite stuff. As a fully grown adult Ash looked to be and to be working in a shop that young people would be going into you’d assume he would have respect and kindness for people with disabilities and wouldn’t sit there laughing and looking at them the whole time they are in the shop. It was a very disgusting thing to watch be done and the only reason I stopped myself from saying something to Ash was my son as I didn’t know what his reaction would be and didn’t want to embarrass him even more than that fully grown man did. I would not recommend going into this shop at all and something needs to be done about that worker.
Bad Customer service!! Understandably it was busy today in mankind. I placed an order for click and collect. When I went in there, the stock of what I ordered was there and lots of them. I went to the desk to see if the order was ready to collect as shop was shutting within. An hour or so. The younger boy served me, said could I come back in half hour and he will sort it and get it packed. No problem! I went back about 4:30pm (still busy in there) he said it was saying there isn’t stock of one of them- we were standing right next to one of the items we ordered (lots of them!) he said the order his end said a title different. The young girl on the other till said something to him and then shrugged her shoulders and that was that. Instead of helping any further. Despise us saying there are lots of stock of what we ordered he said we will need to come back as they’re closing soon and won’t be able to do it. So instead of helping a customer to be happy and satisfied wanting to return, he has made us have to drive 40mins back there. Really isn’t ideal coming this close to Christmas. Really unhappy with the customer service here today. Disappointed to not see a manager about when it is this busy who hopefully could have helped solve this for us.

More and more movie figures than the things they used to sell. Quite expensive for most things
Expensive and empty not like the mankind I remember its just not the same shop i have visited over the last 10 years
