    For my sons birthday he loves to go to Hickory’s. We have been many times over the last few years, and while the food is good, it has now become too expensive. A good atmosphere, but could not hear conversations at my table. Service was good, had to ask a couple of times to order food, as staff were busy. Overall, it will be a while before we come back.

    Not the cheapest but well worth the treat. Free car parking, dog friendly and can honestly say what a great spot to eat, drink and relax with plenty of seating options inside or out. Our welcome was really warm from all and set the tone for our visit. Nicely decked out and some good offers too. Will definitely return when in the area even if its just for a drink or watch the sport but tbh it'll be hard to resist the food!

    Best meal out I've had in a very long time. We had booked and were seated quickly on arrival. It was a nice touch to be given popcorn for nibbles and our drinks arrived quickly, too. My 0% alcohol cocktail was lovely. The menu was huge but we went with the recommendation of the Smokehouse Platter for 2 as it was our first time, and it had a little bit of everything. My goodness, when it arrived we were amazed at the huge platter that took up the width of the table. It truly was a feast, and all beautifully smoked/cooked, with tender meats, a huge sausage, ribs, barbecue sauces, not to mention the fries, pickles, etc. I have never had cornbread before and found it very sweet but interesting. My other half loved it, as he's been to the US and eaten at similar places there. Honestly, if it's anything like Hickory's Smokehouse then I really need to go there and experience the real thing! Just amazing, and I will be going back with other family members as soon as I can.

    Booked for 7:15 pm for our son's birthday treat after a day at alton towers, but due to traffic we were going to be late, I gave them a call and they adjusted our booking. As soon as we arrived we liked the look and atmosphere of the place. It was busy and buzzing. The staff and food were fantastic they even bought out a surprise for his birthday.it was awesome

    All servers were very friendly and attentive. My partner is celiac and the manager was very reassuring and professional with being able to cater to him. I had also just landed a new job which my partner had let them know and they went out their way to suprise me with a free dessert at the end and congratulations. Very good food & portions. Cocktails are very good too!

    As a regular visitor to the USA and lover of all things BBQ and smoked, I absolutely adored our visit to Hickory's. They have the balance of authentic US smoke house atmosphere with perfectly prepared food. Would highly recommend visiting, just make sure your hungry as the portions are very generous! The full rack of ribs puts other restaurants to shame...

    Came on Hickory’s on a sunny Saturday afternoon for an early dinner. We were sat outside as we had my dog with me. The outside seating area is lovely. We ordered the Korean Ribs and Fried Pickles to start which were lovely, I also had a frozen margarita which was good. Main courses of a burger, glazed ribs and Mac N Cheese were good but that was after a few issues. My friend ordered the Beef Brisket first of all but when it was delivered it was tough and cold so she swapped to ribs. My Mac N Cheese was stone cold so I asked them to warm it up for me, it came back still cold and so I asked for a new one that was hot, which I then received. The food was lovely after the staff sorted the issues. Would have been great to have had nice food the first time round though. But the staff couldn’t have dealt with it better!

    The atmosphere was great the room was quite dark and there was background music playing which was nice, we were a larger table of 8 people and the food was amazing and all came out together, the portion sizes were very generous and just about managed to force down dessert, they have a wide variety of drinks and food on their menu. The kids milkshake is very big and they come with different toppings, one of them has an oreo in it and another one has a lollipop etc. When we first arrived we had bottles of water put on the table with a packet of popcorn, there was a movie room, playing different films throughout our time there with cinema style seating, the children's play area is lovely and also has tennis and table tennis available to play, the huts outside for eating look amazing and have their own heating source. The service was excellent and we were asked throughout if everything was OK and if we needed any more drinks or sauces etc We will definitely be visiting again

    The food and drinks were amazing and the staff were fantastic. The staff even made it more special when they did a personal touch to the dessert for my partner and me, as we were there celebrating a 2 year anniversary. The atmosphere was nice and chill. I loved every second there and I love how family oriented the place was. Definitely would recommend to friends and family ❤️
