“I got brought here for my birthday dinner and it was a great experience! Stephen made us feel at super welcome and had good recommendations. Food was fabulously tasty and the right portion. Overall it was a great place to celebrate my birthday.”
“The best restaurant in Worcester. Fantastic food, cosy atmosphere and attentive service. Can’t count how many times I’ve been and pretty much tried everything on the menu, all delicious and perfect every time.”
“What a wonderful evening we had the other night. We went for dinner to rekindle our wonderful memories of this restaurant. It's where I was taken on my first date in Worcester a good few years ago. We are still very happily together. It was just the same, just as special with the amazing food, ambience and great service. Shout out to Lola too. Thank you.”
“All servers were very friendly and attentive. My partner is celiac and the manager was very reassuring and professional with being able to cater to him. I had also just landed a new job which my partner had let them know and they went out their way to suprise me with a free dessert at the end and congratulations. Very good food & portions. Cocktails are very good too!”
“Another excellent meal at Cote Worcester- wonderful service from the lovely Monika. The new menu is delicious, we had the seafood linguine and pistachio creme brûlée and both were 10/10. Can’t wait to come back to try more!”
“We both had a steak which was cooked to perfection and very tasty. Compliments to the chef. The customer service from Naomi was superb. She couldn't do enough for us. Very knowledgeable of the menu and made our experience memorable. Will definitely return.”
“Best Indian food for miles... good prices and great selection including soy tikka. Good range of beers including Butty Bach real ale and Cobra lager. Big TV screens to watch the big match too. Ignore the previous negative comments about not having Bathan's ales... yes, they don't but Butty Bach is just as good.”
“We went there for our anniversary. The atmosphere was nice and the food was delicious! Steak was juicy and tender. Highly recommend!”
“Great pub with a vast range of beers on offer. Live music too which is great.”
“A winning pub within a few minutes walk from the heart of Stourbridge. I've been to the Wagon both with my little girl for a Birthday Party and for a couple of nights out with my Mom friends. Lovely friendly staff, great atmosphere and great live music. Cracking wine list and I can't recommend the home made Scotch Eggs enough. A real treat!”
“We were staying in a cottage close by and took some time to decide where to have our evening meal. I am so glad we chose here. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel so welcome and the service was outstanding. The food was some of the best I've eaten in a long time.”
“Lovely meal in a small village pub. Impressed by the standard. Professional staff, really tasty food”
“Not the usual Bathams establishment. Quite popular with all ages even on a Wednesday and Thursday night. Very pleasant to sit inside or out. Staff have always been chatty and friendly. Beer is always served well.”
“Great dog friendly pub next to the Park. It's lovely and cosy on the evenings, with a log fire and heaters throughout. Just a friendly stourbridge pub to meet friends and have a good evening at!”
“Such an incredible place, we arrived just as they were decorating for Christmas and it was beautiful! The setting is stunning, the rooms are lovely, the food was absolutely incredible and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. We also visited the spa and had a treatment which was fantastic. It's expensive but worth it.”
“A lovely summer evening overlooking the river! The menu is great with lots of options. I had the hanging chicken kebab which was gorgeous. I really enjoyed it and the portion sizes were very generous. Staff were all really friendly and attentive. Our fur baby Teddy even had his own menu, he had his own doggy friendly beer and pork scratchings, it’s such a fun idea. We can also recommend the cheesecake, delicious! Thank you to the Holt Fleet team, we will be returning soon. I cannot recommend enough!”
“Not long back for The Baiting House, and honestly… wow. We stayed in the lodge with the hot tub, and it was absolutely spotless and beautifully set up—such a relaxing spot to unwind. Dinner in the restaurant was next-level. The vibes, the atmosphere, everything just clicked. The service? Supreme. The maitre d’ running the floor was incredible—we’d happily come back just to be looked after by him again. Now, the food. The mains? Absolutely sensational. Every bite was full of flavour and cooked perfectly. I do have to say, the desserts didn’t quite match up to the brilliance of the mains—they were a little underwhelming in comparison—but that’s a tiny blip in an otherwise flawless experience. Honestly, I can’t fault a thing. From accommodation to dining to service, it’s all top-tier. Definitely a 10/10 from me, and I’d recommend it to anyone without hesitation. Already planning our next visit!”
“We stayed at 'The Bell inn' overnight as we were visiting Worcester races for the afternoon and didn't want to take the long journey home after the event. The Bell didn't disappoint, rooms were very spacious, the decor was tasteful, our room had a lovely en-suite, there was Tea making facilities, with well stocked Tea tray. A nice touch was a little fridge with bottles of water, and fresh milk! We also dined at the Inn, the menu was comprehensive, and would suit all tastes. The food when it arrived was 'Superb' , well cooked and well presented! The staff worked very hard, and were very efficient and polite... couldn't do enough for us! The Inn is a typical country inn, its situated on a road junction so there is some road noise through the night, but for us this didn't cause any undue distress!!”
“Amazing food! Recommend the bean burger highly for vegetarians. Atmosphere is very nice and chilled and the service is very friendly and speedy! Deffo recommend”
“Nice cafe, good selection of cafe food including all day breakfast. Vegan and veggie options, as well as non-dairy milk. Really quick service, fairly priced, lovely atmosphere from the staff”
“very convivial atmosphere with a polite and efficient staff. Food was honestly priced and provided quality and quantity. Would very highly recommend.”
“Truly one of the best meals that I have had out for a while! Welcome back to the fabulous returning chef! Excellent service too!”
“The food here is excellent & in my opinion very good value. Service is also brilliant. If you find you have eyes bigger than your stomach ask for the remainder to be boxed up & take it with you. All meals are ordered from menus with a varied choice. The room we gad was spacious; luxurious & comfortable. Tea & coffee in the room. Very large bathroom. View over the river was stunning. Thank you our stay was very pleasant & would return here again.”
“Wonderful! Good selection of local.and national real ale on cask and keg, tasty lager and two fridges full of wonderful ciders. Fair prices and good atmosphere. Live music occasionally.”
“Stopped by Ye Olde Black Cross in Bromsgrove and had a genuinely lovely experience. A big shout-out to Blayk, who was behind the bar—his enthusiasm, friendliness, and great energy really stood out. He made everyone feel welcome and engaged brilliantly with both myself and other customers. The pub itself has a warm and friendly atmosphere, decent food, and a fantastic historic touch—a glass-covered well dating back to 1640, which is a really cool feature you don’t see every day. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area—especially if Blayk’s working!”
“We haven't visited The Dog at Harvington for years but we will definitely be returning soon. The service was amazing and good delicious. We had mixed grill and duo of lamb followed by apple and cherry crumble with custard and chocolate brownie with ice cream. Everything was amazing. We enjoyed our evening at The Dog. Thank you”
“Honestly this is probably the last proper pub in Kidderminster the staff are very polite and welcoming and the drinks are cheap which is a bonus”
“Had lunch yesterday with my elderly mother. Staff were excellent, very attentive. Food was awesome, well cooked, hot and generous portions. Would definitely recommend this place and will certainly be going again.”
“We went in for an early evening meal - me & the wife, our 2 kids and mother in law. The food was beautiful with a good selection of meals to choose from and at fairly reasonable prices (especially considering the quality of the food. But the icing on the cake for us was that kids eat for £1 with a paying adult! And the kids meals were pretty substantial too. Dogs are allowed in there too so we took ours with us which is always nice to know as having a dog can limit your options sometimes. We didn't stay here but it is a lovely riverside location not far from Worcester, Droitwich and many local attractions. We stopped in on our way back from English Heritage - Witley Court and it is only 5-6 minutes away from there.”
“Libby was very warm, attentive and very polite. The breakfast was very enjoyable. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, some people were wearing their pyjamas and doing their make up. The music was at the right level where we could have a conversation without being drowned out. The pub was clean, tidy and very well set up. The manager came in after to help shuffle some chairs which was nice to see, she even made the effort to have a lovely chat. Overall a very good experience and I look forward in visiting again. The staff are an asset to the pub.”
