   Went for a Sunday roast, honestly the worst food I’ve ever had. The whole plate was pale and aneamic looking. The meat was dry and chewy, potatoes small and chewy. I could barely eat it. So gross. I was told I could not just have the turkey roast because they had a big table coming in later so the turkey was being saved for them. Overpriced, never going again.

   Libby was very warm, attentive and very polite. The breakfast was very enjoyable. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, some people were wearing their pyjamas and doing their make up. The music was at the right level where we could have a conversation without being drowned out. The pub was clean, tidy and very well set up. The manager came in after to help shuffle some chairs which was nice to see, she even made the effort to have a lovely chat. Overall a very good experience and I look forward in visiting again. The staff are an asset to the pub.

   Had a birthday meal here, very nice food and decent price, especially with the free bottle of wine for the birthday girl (my partner) lovely atmosphere and quick service (which was the only complaint I had previously, this is much better now!)

   Had a lovely meal at the Mare & Colt this evening and can recommend the gammon with rum and cola glaze and the wife doesnt do puddings but demolished the mini brownie. Our server, Millie, is friendly and helpful and had a great sense of humour. Happy to recommend.

   Lovely refit and freindly staff, the beer selection was good. Only negative was the serving time for food finished at 8 on the dot which we managed but had we been a minute later we were informed it would have been a firm no to food! This is early I understand 8.30 or 9 but it would influence me in the future to drop in or not for dinner. Otherwise I would recommend this pub, just don't be late!! Food was tasty, pie was a good size too.

   Absolutely amazing! The bar/restaurant looks beautiful after the refurb. The staff are super friendly and attentive. Lots of choice on the menu and the food was amazing. I can highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding. We're looking forward to returning again soon.

   I've been here several times lately for the Sea Food Grill: sea bass, salmon and tiger prawns, cooked to perfection at £17.99 it's worth a try, the sweet menu is also very tempting. The staff are very friendly, I love it.
