   Really love this pub, but the reason for 3 stars is it has so much potential for great live music, everytime I have visted it's been dead and no music on just juke box, never see any advertisement for the pub either, such a shame as it would be a sad loss to kiddy if this pub went, so please do some promo work, get bands in ! And more types of beer

   Only ever been to the Boars Head twice (not coming from the area) and I just love the vibe of the place - kind of down and dirty rock n roll. Always a friendly welcome from the staff. The kind of place you walk in as as a stranger and end of chatting to everyone.
