   AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. We paid the price of a bespoke solution, but nothing was made to measure and the wardrobe did not have any of the dimensions discussed with Demi. We now have huge dead spaces above and around our wardrobes, and even the most standard wardrobe from IKEA would have been better. They are misleading, dishonest, and do not communicate. The result is extremely disappointing, and clearly not at the level one would expect at that price. Everything went wrong, from the delivery which the guy rushed so much I had to carry things from the street, to the assembly. the attention to detail was so high that we lost a 50 gbp power socket in the process, which needed to be cut by the builders, and on top of that now we have a hole in our wall. Been without wardrobes for two months now, and it is all thanks to Demi.

   The Shadwell branch can't say they didn't see this coming because they know they messed up. The orders were wrong, we had units that wasn't for us and our builder was saying the measurements were wrong. This cost us more as we were waiting for the delivery. We paid £125 for delivery and didn't even care to compensate us for this nightmare. Spoke to the manager and he is not even apologised! Very bad service.

   The staff in this branch are exceptional particularly Conor and Maggie, they've always taken care of me and the staff from Oliver Stern. Very friendly and helpful and always treat us with respect. I've been visiting this branch for a few years now and it's well organised and sometimes if you're lucky you can arrange swift deliveries. Great team, major difference from other local branches, definitely worth visiting if you want to order kitchens. By the way, Howdens kitchen quality are amazing.

   I had Raman Patel visit my apartment to design a kitchen. After which he disappeared and refused to answer my calls. Called Howdens in Shadwell three times and he was always unavailable, I was promised callbacks that just never came. Maybe it was because my kitchen space wasn't a one size fits all that Raman deemed it too difficult to make the effort.

   Our kitchen designer wasn’t helpful at all - communication was shocking - ended up having to measure everything ourselves again - had to recheck our order about 4 times because there had been so many mistakes and finally had to email about 5 times to get our correct estimate invoice! Not very gdpr compliant that we were sent someone else’s receipt and order

   I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff in howdens shadwell/wrapping, they have always helped me when I needed something sorted out quickly, wheatear it be a kitchen design or a fire door, I would especially like to thank the manager DEMI who has gone beyond helping me by contacting the suppliers to get my £8k kitchen in, and arranging the quartz worktop booked, so that I can get the job done before end of November, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.

   Atrocious customer service. We had a prearranged appointment for 11am on Saturday 28-Aug-2021. We arrived to find the store empty except for one person outside talking on his mobile quite loudly on a personal call. He could clearly see we were trying to find someone to help us but just ignored us. Eventually he told us staff had been pinged and were not in (fair enough) but no one contacted to tell us this so we could reschedule. Definitely given us second thoughts about using them. Furthermore, I checked the reviews thinking perhaps we just had a bad experience on the off chance. Seems like it has been a common occurrence and very suspiciously some of the 5* reviews seem to be from people who actually work there!
