We had our kitchen cupbord doors replaced in 2008. Unfortunately for us those cupboards which receive sunlight through the kitchen window have faded badly. The original colour was magenta, whereas the faded areas are now a dull yellow shade red. Clearly the pigment, or pigments used were not lightfast. The pigments chosen should have been those used for paint employed by the car manufacturers. These are of course more expensive;however, the result of bad pigment choice is this poor appraisal and a very disgruntled customer.
