Daniel did three consultations for my family and I. He telephoned us promptly and was very friendly and professional. He explained the various aspects of Wills, Power of Attorney and Probate clearly. There was no hard sell - just good advice.
After finally getting my LPA's in order, it was time to organise the Will itself so, chose Town and Country Law as they were promoting a special offer which prompted to get on with it! I was put in touch with Daniel Howard who explained everything efficiently and made sure I completely understood everything before proceeding. The whole thing too about 20 minutes on the telephone followed by emailed documentation which was easy to navigate and complete and return. Very happy that I have now finalised my affairs!

The process of doing my will was very straightforward and simple. Nathan gave me a pre arranged callback at my convenience. I explained what I wanted and gave him the details. Go elsewhere for a will . They soon come to your home and write it up . Charging you in 3 instalments so then all paid up .. then everything is by email . That you don’t get or miss. You contact them asking what’s happened to my will? Oh we emailed you !! Not into emails just simple telephone calls or letters in the post !! A year on nearly and our joint will as husband and wife is not completed. I could be dead before my will is totally finalised !! Rang Phil who took our instruction and came to our home all smiles . His reply was all you need is to sign it - it’s self explanatory … !! My reply not to me it’s not . This is one of the most if not the most important thing you will ever do and sign . Your will . Feel like going to Martin Lewis or a proper solicitors .. do not go to town and country , go local , go to a office - just go elsewhere !!

Excellent service! Being a younger man looking to get a Will sorted as I’m getting married later in the year I called the company hoping for some advice, I was a little nervous calling but I spoke to a gentleman named Jean-Paul who soon put my mind at ease, Jean-Paul listened to my questions and really helped me understand what it was I needed and wanted. 100% would recommend.
My elderly father initially instructed Town and Country Law back in June 2021. He required a family trust and an updated will. Everything was explained thoroughly and any questions we had were answered in simple terms with no jargon. A couple of anomalies were addressed early on without any problems. However, I was not expecting the lengthy delay in getting the final documentation. Apparently caused by the backlog at the Land Registry. Despite this James assured my Dad that everything was live and in place from the date of signing, and that there was nothing to worry about. Everything finally completed February 2023. Very professional and helpful, but it would appear that other forces beyond their control make it a very long process.
I had some issues with a very complicated will. But James has been very good. He's explained everything thoroughly and helped me to understand what needed to be done and how. James has called me to inform me of the progress every step of the way. I know I can contact him with any issues or queries.
