AVOID! Pre-booked a taxi in advance. Sat here waiting for it and it didn't turn up. Phoned to ask where it is, and get told they can't find me a driver. So what was the point booking in advance?! I'm now going to be seriously late while I try make alternative arrangements.
★☆☆☆☆ Absolutely Appalling – Avoid at All Costs If I could give zero stars, I would. This company has failed me twice for two separate pre-booked taxis both arranged well in advance for a wedding No phone call, no message, no apology – just the excuse of ‘the weekend’ while I stood there waiting like a fool. The first time, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But after the second no-show, it’s clear this company is utterly unreliable and couldn’t care less about its customers. When you pre-book a taxi, especially for important events or travel connections, you expect a basic level of professionalism. This company offers none. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere. This service is a complete joke, and if your plans actually matter, do not trust them to show up.
I pre-booked a taxi 10 hours in advance for a 10pm pick up. When it got to 10pm the taxi didn’t arrive so I queried this with the taxi firm. Despite booking a taxi 10 hours earlier they couldn’t guarantee me when I would be picked up and could only tell me they would do it when a taxi was in the area. This effectively left me in limbo not knowing if or when I would be picked up at all. In the end it was 45 minutes late and the driver was apologetic. Please don’t accept and dupe customers into thinking that they will be picked up at an agreed time. This isn’t a safe travel option for vulnerable people.
I've been using Door to Door taxis for a couple of years. From the booking staff to the drivers they're all very polite, professional and friendly. The taxi always arrives at the time I've booked it for. The cars are clean and the drivers drive safely and comfortably delivering me safely to my destination. I will certainly continue to use Door to Door taxis and recommend them.
Fantastic, prompt service. Ordered a NYE cab in advance which arrived exactly at 1am as requested. Had a text alert 15 mins prior to arrival letting me know drivers name and car reg. The car was clean and the driver polite and friendly. Thanks Door 2 Door!
The taxi, a comfortable vehicle in good order, arrived promptly. The driver was very friendly. Sadly shortly after starting the journey the car had a puncture which the driver efficiently rectified and did his bets to make up time. A satisfactory experience so I gave him a good tip!
I regularly use this taxi firm. The board operatives are polite and cheerful, (whatever time of day/night) and book me a taxi for the time requested more often than not. The drivers are professional and polite also. Thankyou door2door, Sue.
