   I have just had a table and chairs delivered and am thrilled with them. The whole experience has been one that you would hope for , but don't always find. This is a company who from the advice initially -which was spot on ,to the delivery men today who assembled and were warm, friendly and assembled everything for me -was quite simply brilliant!

   After having a less than ideal experience with a "reputable" high street bed company I found Smiths of Harrogate through a quick Google search. The service was superb, no question was too much, and the staff I spoke to were super cheery. The mattress was delivered today and I can't wait to get a good nights sleep.

   We’d spent a lot of time looking into what we wanted in a recliner, so we made the trip to the store — and it was definitely worth the drive! The range of high-quality furniture was fantastic, and Steve Dyson took the time to guide us through all the options, including the many fabrics and leather choices. What really stood out was the knowledge, experience, and genuine pride that comes across in this family-run business. It felt a step above anywhere else we’d visited. In the end, we ordered exactly what we were looking for, made to suit our needs perfectly.

The staff are people friendly, so when discussing specifics about their products they are open and informative. Personally, I can’t fault them.    We had seen a particular brand of swivel rise and recline chair online and found out the Smith's were one of the biggest UK stockists. I contacted them to find out if they had any in stock that we could see and try as the chairs came in different sizes and there were a few different styles that we liked. I spoke with Christopher for about 20 minutes about the brand, the chairs and our needs. I got the impression straight away that they were knowledgable and confident in the products they were selling and there was no "hard sell". We arranged to visit the store (from over an hour away) but unfortunately Christopher wasn't going to be in on that day. He told me to ask for Olly who also knew the brand really well and he would let him know we were coming in. Olly took us through all the different types of chairs, different options, even going and getting a model from their store room that hadn't been unwrapped yet so we could test it out. We ended up being there 2 1/2 hours trying the different models, discussing options and working out which chair was the right one for us. Throughout the whole time nothing was too much bother and there was no "hard sell". Their range of furniture is amazing, so much so that we ended up buying a new sofa and chair while we were there, to go with the swivel rise and recline chair we'd originally gone in to buy, which we also bought. We have only just placed the order so haven't received the items yet, but if the service we've received so far is anything to go by then I'm confident that everything will be fine.
