An amazing production of Cats at Storyhouse last week was the culmination of 8 months' hard work by a fabulously talented bunch of young people, supported by a great staff who make every rehearsal fun. My son has loved being part of the show and is counting down the days until next term starts!
Watching my daughter and the other talented performers on stage at Storyhouse was truly a gift. Their rendition of Cats was absolutely magnificent. To see their talent shine on stage, with every note and every move, was simply sensational. It was more than a performance; it was a pure triumph!
I would like to personally thank you and the OTMYT team for giving my daughter such an incredible opportunity to be part of such a professionally prepared CATS musical. She truly excelled—growing in confidence on stage, making new friends, and finding role models among the older cast members. All of this has contributed beautifully to her evolving love for singing, dancing, and acting. She cannot wait to continue with you from September 2025!
I went to see Jamie on the opening night and it certainly didn't disappoint. As a huge Jamie fan and seeing it in theatre across the UK numerous times, I couldn't miss the opportunity to go to see the young talented people in the OTMYT. I was blown away with the whole show, and what they can do at this level. Jamie's mum had an unbelievable voice, as did Pritti. I admire the confidence of each and every one of them, and I hope to see some of them over the years in bigger theatres! Well done all, cast and crew. I'll be back again for another show.
My daughter has joined OTMYT a few years ago and has enjoyed her experience from the word go. Not only does she like performing and singing and dancing but she also loves the atmosphere, the friendship and the work ethic that comes from OTMYT. A brilliant group that is inclusive, fun, varied and exciting. My daughter has been member of On The Mark Youth Theatre for two years and has made some fabulous friends and enjoyed all the work shops and weekly sessions immensely. The tutors and mentors are brilliant and take time with all participants ensuring everyone is happy and included. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending OTMYT to anyone! 5 stars all round!
We had heard how excellent OTMYT shows were but we were blown away with the standard and professionalism when we saw the first show our daughter was in. Simon and his team are brilliant. It still amazes me what they manage to achieve in such a short time. The students come away happy and with so much confidence and sense of achievement. Absolutely fantastic youth theatre!
My daughters absolutely love OTMYT! They have grown in confidence and absolutely love performing. Simon and his team are thoroughly professional and push the members to their limits in order to get the best from them. Both leave each session utterly exhausted but with the biggest smiles on their faces, and every show that they have performed in so far has been amazing! I couldn’t wish for a better way for my daughters to spend their Saturdays!
