   Called to make an emergency booking, after father in law's car had burst tyres. We had a train to catch and the taxi arrived quickly and was able to accommodate our dog, myself on crutches, my partner, and our luggage. The driver was friendly, and helpful and made sure we were at the right place, and as close as possible so I didn't have to walk too far with my crutches. Great service all round. Thank you.

   Got the taxi for my elderly mum. She has just rung to say she got home safe and what a lovely man the driver was. She said he helped her into the house and carried her bag. He was on time and more than happy to go the extra mile to help. Definitely a 5* review from us.

   Airport Transfer! First time on booking a taxi to the airport. We were a little apprehensive. But used Amber Taxis on a recommendation. I can say they didn't disappoint. Prompt pick up for departure flight which picked us up at 3 AM. Dropped us outside terminal building at East Midlands Airport. On arrival I received a call from driver who asked if we were ready for car. Explained we were just going through passport control. We agreed I would call him once we had our luggage. Which we did. He was literally there in 2 minutes of us coming outside the airport at the pick up and drop off zone. Would highly recommend this taxi company. Both drivers we smart, polite and punctual. Both cars were also very clean. Excellent value for money. Thank you and will be again be using your company and recommending you to others.

   Today I again needed a taxi to Kings Mill Hospital and had not booked. It was no problem taxi arrived 15 minutes as advised and terrific service. I have used Amber taxis to and from the hospital and they never let me down. Their contact system is brilliant, you know what car is coming for you. As a woman travelling alone I feel really confident and can’t thank them enough.

   I've provided 5 stars because... 1. Turned up a little later than booked, but as it's a taxi they could be helping someone unload shopping, stuck in traffic so I like to give myself a 10-15 buffer if and when I can and the taxi arrived "on-time" in my perspective. 2. The driver was polite, and greeted me well. 3. The taxi was clean and the journey was smooth so it felt like the vehicle was highly maintained. 4. The journey we as efficient as possible and the standard of driving matches road rules. Whereas I've been in other taxis whereby the driver refused to wear a belt. 5. The caller who arranged the taxi arranged it quickly, and politely. I received messages once it was booked and information about the vehicle including colour and manufacture. For these five reasons it's five stars from me

   Pre booked taxi to take me to work ,didn't turn up, phoned to find out if it was on its way, I was told there wasn't anything on the system. Got to work late because of the inefficiency of said company will never use this company again.!!

   I'll have to agree with the other reviewers on here and comment on the driving standard. I appreciate that for taxi drivers time is money, but it doesn't excuse bad driving. One of their drivers overtook me in lane two of the M1 (at about 07:35 on 16/01/23), cut back in at a gap of about 6ft (no indicator) and then proceeded to sit up the bum of a car in front of them. If you have your firm's logo printed on your vehicle, think about how you drive.

   Car seats were very stained but the driver was helpful and took the most direct route. Took 20 mins to arrive, rather than the ten mins promised, but fair pricing.

   I live locally in the area and I see your drivers quite frequent. The reason why I am writing this is the standard of your drivers is concerning. On two separate occasions today. I have had one driver tailgating me. In the wet weather. The second occasion I seen a driver speeding down ball hill well over 40mph when it's a 30mph! Very concerning to be honest. And gives the company a bad name!
