Excellent service, always on time . Friendly helpful Drivers. As I use Taxis on a regular basis I find them very reliable. And also the person/person's who answer the call , always polite and as we sometimes need a driver who takes Dog's made sure when we need to see the Vet finds us a driver ,taking the stress out of the visit.
Our driver Darren was brilliant. He messaged us the day before our airport transfer to let us know that he would be our driver. The pick up was for 03.30 and he was there at our house on time. He was very sociable and made the the 45 minute trip to East Mids airport very enjoyable. Thanks
I recently booked 3 journeys to and from Manchester Airport with Galaxy. On 2nd Sept Andrew Hawkins was our driver and he was excellent. He contacted us the day before and on the morning of our journey. He arrived on time and was friendly and helpful. We returned on 16th Sept and Aaron was our driver and again he was excellent, keeping in contact with us until we reached the pick up point. However when my friend was picked up for her flight back to Australia on 21st Sept she didn't have a good experience. The driver didn't contact us the day before and didn't give his name when he arrived. He was quite taciturn and reversed into a wall when leaving my drive. He played loud rap music for the whole journey and at times was doing over 85 mph. I have used your company a number of times and always been satisfied with the service. It seems a pity that one driver can spoil your record. June Brown
I needed to go from home to Manchester for a 3 day hospital stay. Chris the driver kept me notified of his arrival and picked us up on time. The car was spotless. The return journey was complicated by my stay being extended by a day. However, despite Fridays being a very busy day, Andrew arrived at the agreed time to meet us. The car was spotless. He was aware of my discomfort, and drove us home smoothly and steadily. He also made sure we were safely indoors before he left.(my Hubby had travelled with me, staying near the hospital.) I cannot praise Galaxy Travel highly enough, especially Linda,Lisa,Chris and Andrew. I would certainly recommend them.
We’ve used Galaxy for airport journeys and the races for many years. Just recently we’ve also used them for local journeys after having had real difficulty to get a taxi where we live. Whatever the journey, they are always on time, polite, professional with spotless vehicles.. exactly what a taxi service should be and other firms would do well to follow Galaxy’s lead.. Well done guys! I wouldn’t even bother to try any other firm now. Galaxy will get all our support from now on .
Booked at short notice for airport. The lady I booked with was friendly, professional & most helpful in finding me a driver. The car arrived on time, was spotless, & the driver Duncan had great conversation which made the journey more pleasant. I thought the price was excellent in comparison to taxis I've used before.I cannot recommend this company highly enough & will definitely be using them again next time we’re visiting UK.
I had to travel for business at a very short notice. The Galaxy office organised everything, easy and stress free. The driver was on time and polite.
